    Sticky
For unknown reasons, every screenshot I captured had noticeably less contrast and saturation than in-game graphics. I did some post processing to try to bring it close to how it should look but it still wasn't perfect. If anyone can shed some light on why it happens and how to solve it, I would be immensely grateful.

    Edit 04/17/2024:
Since the new update of SH2 Shader Core omits the LUT which my preset uses, SH2 Universal Core is now listed as requirement instead.

    Edit 02/08/2024:
    A showcase of 3.0Final.

    Edit 01/22/2024:
A very short 2.0RE gameplay video if you are curious about how it looks. I haven't yet had enough time to make a long demo.

    Edit 11/12/2023:
I just made a showcase for 1.35. It's a pretty long one but I hope it looks good.

What did you change with water? I can't figure out why tessellation is gone and brightness is not working...

    edit:
I get it now. Missed the per weather override that makes the water flat and boring

I think back in it's day before LUX was around, IMHO back then, ELFX was King.

If you have nice hardware and running a nice ENB like Azurite Horizons, LUX is on another level of realism and immersion.

No disrespect to ELFX, but seriously do yourself a favor and check out LUX, and also EVLaS.

Here's some LUX and EVLaS in action, if these don't change your mind, I don't know what will! LOL :P

Open them in another tab, the shots are in 1440p.

      Happy Modding!

And last, my girlfriend in LUX lighting! If the other 3 pics didn't change your mind, she outta excite you! LOL :P

Ahhh patches, I only use Lux Patch Hub

There's always issues at times, I guess it depends, I would hope to think, these are good patches, and making things better. BUT, if not, GGUNIT is a great guy, and he always responds, so post away to get things worked on, and sooner or later, if there's an issue, he'll correct it, and personally in the past for me, he fixed things like FAST, the following day or two!

And if you need a patch for something, just ask him! :)

      GGUNIT ROCKS! :)

I've never had any LUX issues before.

So no matter what version, the main file, Orbis or Via, just ask GGUNIT he's good about fixing or adding in features, etc...

ok I'll give it a try.
and last question. Do i need an ENB to use lux?
As far ad EVLAS I have been using it.

LUX is designed for ENB, but you could use it without it too, just won't be as immersive.

Last I remember, I tried it with Community Shaders, if you want to go that route instead of ENB.

Maybe better to just ask questions here, especially if it benefits others...

Why do I have a longer loading time black screen since I started using Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core and his dependencies? It's the same with the new version of Cabbage ENB which use it.

Edit : It may be ENB Worldspace Weatherlists causing this

    Hi HTWWW,

I noticed under the Requirements, ENB Dynamic Cubemaps is listed, but under Recommended, there is Capture Warmer (Dynamic Cubemaps).

Can Capture Warmer (Dynamic Cubemaps) be used instead of ENB Dynamic Cubemaps?

    THANKS

From what I understand Capture Warmer fixes an issue with ENB Dynamic Cubemaps, so without ENB Dynamic Cubemaps it does nothing.

Ok I overlooked the info on Capture Warmer by mistake...

If you don't mind me asking for ENB Dynamic Cubemaps, do I install ENB Dynamic Cubemaps in MO2, and let it overwrite everything. Then all the names of e.dds cubemap files, I make a 1px black cubemap of them, and place those next all under \Skyrim Special Edition\Data\textures\cubemaps and I noticed there's also one textures\dlc01\cubemaps\lavacubemap_e.dds

The ENB Menu, on the far right, the, 'FX Shaders - Weather Parameters' section is blank?

Nvidia Reflex is not showing up in the ENB Menu? Also, I don't remember, is there suppose to be a Dynamic Cubemap option showing in the ENB Menu?

      THANKS

    I have a small request.

Can you please change the default screenshot format to png (value "1" instead of "0"), so we could safetly upload these beautiful screenshots everywhere?

I'm changing this line every update, but when I eventually forget about it, it's a bit annoying.

    Hello
I updated SH Universal Core together with ENB extender and KiLoader and after that the ENB looks extremely washed out when it comes to colors.

I can't revert to previous KiLoader etc. because they are not downloadable anymore on Nexus.

Or is the problem somewhere else? I noticed that some settings in "LUT" for example are completely gone in the newer shader core

I'm using the newest KiLoader and it works just fine. SH2 Shader Core after the lateset update no longer includes LUT, that's why I changed the requirement to Universal Core. I would suggest you do a clean install when changing to Universal Core and remember to clear the cache generated by ENB and SH2.

    Hello,
I have a problem but I don't know if it comes from enb or Real Dirt Roads. When I activate the ambient occlusion which adds shadows  under plants in particular, the road doesn't appear correctly as can be seen on this image : https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=24/19/w532.jpg

Hollows are also clearly visible. As a result, I don't know whether to report this problem to the author of this mod or to the author of enb. Thank you in advance for your reply.

I don't think this is ENB related if AO works correctly on everything else, and unfortunately I don't know what's going on here other than checking if you have deleted the cache when updating. Asking the author of Real Dirt Roads would be a better bet.

    Hello,
thanks for the update. Is there any way to darken the sky at night without having to decrease the overall brightness or increase the contrast (to avoid darkening the whole image). I always find the night sky too bright.

Increase gradient curve would probably do the job.

I tried your penultimate preset.  Although it still isn't what I'm looking for - mainly due to the weather mod and the bright nights, I suspect - the quality of this work is exquisite.
