About this mod
This is a collection of simple patches to correct typographical errors in Skyrim, its DLCs, and various mods. I can't stand typos, and I fix them in TES5Edit all the time just for my own game. It occurs to me rather belatedly that others might also want them.

- Permissions and credits
To get more, use the "Track" feature in the menu above to watch this page, and you'll see when it has updates. I don't think Nexus provides any kind of notification directly; you'll just see an "Updated" marker if you come back to the page or see it in lists (e.g., when searching, or when browsing a category).
I've made lots and lots of such corrections, but not with an eye to releasing them as patches, so I'll need to compare my copies of mods to the original versions to make more patches, over time.
The patches here are only typographical (grammatical, spelling, punctuation, naming errors, sentence structure, illogical phrasing, incorrect word choice, etc.). I set up separate pages for other kinds of patches (balance, lore, compatibility, etc.), on a per-mod basis.
It is recommended to merge these trivial patches, to save mod slots. For any that don't auto-merge into Bashed/Smashed Patch, try Merge Plugins Script for xEdit, the stand-alone Merge Plugins app, or the zMerge function of zEdit.
List of Patches
Each patch will be a separate download, usually just an ESP replacement, and will require the complete original mod to work.
Main download here:
- Unofficial Skyrim Grammar and Spelling Patch Redux by me and based in part on old USGSP by PetrogradXXII / FrigginAndrey / Wh1t35t0rm. Presently fixes 12 in-game book texts that were missed by Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch. Where USGSP conflicted with USLEP (and USkP before that), I defer to USLEP (e.g., normalizing to the spelling "Summerset Isle" not "Sumurset" or any of the other attested spellings).
Patches also available on the Files page so far:
- For 3D Loadscreens - 40 Brand New (Ket_3DLoadscreens.esp) by Ketaroz (improves spelling, grammar, and idiomatic English of almost every loadscreen text, plus uses a consistent quotation format)
- For Ancient Knowledge Loadscreens (Ket_PictureLoadscreens.esp) by Ketaroz (improves many loadscreen texts)
- For Dragon Priests - Enhanced (konahrik_accoutrements_dpe.esp) by Edhelsereg (fixes typos in two loadscreen texts)
- For Dragon Priest Enhanced Reborn Hell Edition 2.0 (konahrik_accoutrements_dpe.esp) by Only1Dragon and Edhelsereg (fixes two loadscreen texts)
- For Dragon Priest Enhanced Reborn Normal Edition 2.0a (konahrik_accoutrements_dpe.esp) by Only1Dragon and Edhelsereg (fixes two loadscreen texts)

- Unofficial Skyrim Grammar and Spelling Patch - USGSP by FrigginAndrey; fixes various errors missed by Unofficial Skyrim Patch (USkP) project. WARNING: Obsolete and will re-introduce errors if used in a USLEP game with the DLCs. This is ONLY for use with Skyrim alone, with the old USkP. Also forces the spelling "Sumurset Isle" which Bethesda quit using.
- Skyrim Typo Fixes and Grammatical Corrections by CaptainZephyrr; fixes misspellings and grammar errors in the game's books and other texts. At some point, I will pore over this and its compatibility level with USLEP, and merge its fixes into Unofficial Skyrim Grammar and Spelling Patch Redux.
- Skyrim Race Records Master by Darklocq, which fixes lots of errors in RACE records (not all of them are just typos, and the ESP isn't plug 'n' play, but is a tool for experienced TES5Edit users).
- Dragons Shout with Voice Dawnguard and USLeEP (USLEP) Patch by Darklocq, for Dragons Shout with Voice by pauderek (one of the things it fixes is Spanish inverted exclamation marks left over in the English version). Not needed with Race Records Master, above.
- Scrolls Cast Instantly - USLEP (USLeEP) - No Charge Time by Darklocq, replacing old, broken SCI mod by SIDWULF; fixes typos and a lot else.
- JaySuS Swords - Unofficial Loading Screen Improvements by M0J0MAN, for JaySus Swords by JaySus (which is also integrated into Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade by kryptopyr).
- Typo Patch - The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal by JosephRussell, for The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal by MannyGT (the quest mod, not to be confused with some just-gear mods with similar names).
- Typo Patch - Moonpath to Elsweyr by JosephRussell, for Muppetpuppet's Moonpath to Elsweyr.
- Unofficial Falskaar Patch by OneEyedAssassin, for Alexander J. Velicky's Falskaar. Focused on quest and object-placement fixes, it also has grammatical cleanup.
- Typo Patch - Falskaar by JosephRussell, for Alexander J. Velicky's Falskaar. Fixes some stuff missed by the above.
- Typo Patch - Darkend by JosephRussell, for JKrojmal's Darkend.
- Typo Patch - Wrath of Nature - The Path of the Druid by Joseph Russell, for Bluarchon's Wrath of Nature - The Path of the Druid.
- Follower Live Package - ReTranslation by bojanni, for FollowerLivePackage by oldcyder; FLP is hard to use without this patch, and still has a learning curve with it, but is a more flexible replacement for AFT/iAFT, EFF, UFO, and other follower-management mods, for those who aren't using NFF.
- Vampiric Thirst Redone by tx12001, for Vampiric Thirst - Dawnguard Edition by MsLeeches; fixes typos, addresses balance issues, and adds some features.
- Inigo Loadscreen Quote Fixer by Khazikane, for Smartbluecat's Inigo follower (fixes style of loadscreen texts).
- Serana Dialogue Edit by ThatGuyYeah, for the Dawnguard follower (fixes typos in quest dialogue, and adds more dialogue).
- Actually Nine Holds - fixes an in-game book, The Nine Holds, to stop leaving out Falkreath.
- Whispers of the Sixth House De-cheatification Patch - also fixes typos in about 50% of the dialogues, and some minor bugs. Patch for Whispers of the Sixth House by Morrowind1979.
Boilerplate
I claim no credit for anything (other than goodful grammarses and speling), and impose no restrictions of any kind on these files beyond any that may have been imposed by their original authors (mostly: don't re-upload to other sites, use in mods you charge money for, or integrate resources from them into your new mod without asking first).
