Classic John Marston is coming back i have to look through what the old owner of this account did with the mod or completely redo the entire thing and figure out how to get it all working
Hey man, the mod is great. However, is it possible you drop Dutch without the outfit/hair/facial hair overhaul, with only his height modified? Ive been bugging trying to only make his scale taller since im not a mod maker, and this is the only mod ive seen that actually changes Dutch's height.
Yeah, I saw that, however when I take cs_dutch.ymt from the game files and change his scale from default to whatever else, he seems to just either become invisible or he has no physical changes ingame at all. (and yes the file type stays .ymt, i also have lml.) Which is odd to me because your file works perfectly in contrast. Do you know why that is? Would be a great help. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply man, much appreciated. All i did was extract the game's cs_dutch.ymt file, put it in lml, edited all the lines with <scale value="1.000000"/>. Nothing else, didnt edit no other line. If theres some other line id need to edit, it would be great to know which. I did a comparison between your file and the vanilla one, and theres not much difference (other than the scale value, the hair and outfits, of course). Hell, its itching me to know what im doing wrong haha.
Can I use them all at the same time? I had added height mod last year but no matter what I can't make Arthur and John height mod compatible with each other. John height mod sometime makes him invisible
john should not be invisible i use this all the time not once was john invisible i run all 4 files together might be a conflict in your game if not try to redo your stream if that does not work make a install.xml path for the mod to be loaded into lml
I was talking about other mods Idk who the authors was. But this mod works! Only problem is John have weird cloths and Dutch have different hairstyles. I want them both to look default I just want to change their heights that's all.
the dutch stuff is a custom mod i mad to edit him and john has all his npc outfits in the ymt file its simple to edit it with other files just open another ymt file of your choice and apply the same scale to it npc john also has his cowboy outfit and cover art cowboy outfit
make sure you install the npc textures from classic cowboy 2.7 i forgot i used those textures in the ymt file for the outfit might make some custom more newer clothing to suit john better and update the mod
is the <scale value=/> the height of the character? i'm asking because i want to make Dutch closer to 6'3" or 6'4". i was wondering if that was the value
i was asked why there was a comment sticky that i did not sticky and they said stuff was stolen im making a fix pack to show that my mod has nothing stolen
44 comments
and to increase his height edit the scale lines there are a bunch of them
Do you know why that is? Would be a great help. Thanks.
