About this mod

Patch plugin to ensure compatibility between Modest Type4 Armors and STAR(S) TTW or SawyerBatty. As a bonus also includes instructions for other popular mods such as Improved Vanilla Male Bodies and Titans of the New West.

(Optional) TYPE4 FO3 - Body and Armors
  • Main File: T4 - Main
  • Hide/delete the file "T4-plugin.esp" (unnecessary and will crash your game)
  • Hide/delete the meshes\armor\enclavescientist folder and/or the files inside
  • Optional coverage of outfits and characters added by Fallout 3's DLCs (most notably the slaves and raiders in The Pitt)
(Optional) TYPE4 Fo3 - Armor Fixes
  • Main File: T4 Armor Mesh Fixes
  • Hide/delete the meshes\armor\enclavescientist folder and/or the files inside
  • Optional coverage of outfits and characters added by Fallout 3's DLCs (most notably the slaves and raiders in The Pitt)
TYPE4 - Body and Armors
  • Main File: T4 - Main
  • Hide/delete the meshes\armor\enclavescientist folder and/or the files inside
  • Plugin STILL REQUIRED
More Modest Type 4 Body and Armor
  • Main File: More Modest T4 - Main
  • Hide the file "T4-modest.esp" (all changes forwarded into my plugin)
These meshes are recommended by castisass on the More Modest Type 4 page, but require some more fiddling in MO2.
(Optional): T6M Equipment Replacer (Prostitutes)
  • Main File: T6M Equipment Replacer NV v1_0
  • Delete everything *except* meshes\armor\prostitutes and textures\armor\prostitutes
  • This makes them no more risque than vanilla but if you're looking for an alternative I recommend Modest Type 4 Replacer
(Optional): T6M Various Conversions (Honest Hearts Tribals)
  • Main File: T6M Honest Hearts Tribal Conversions Fixed Sorrows
  • Hide/delete the file "meshes\nvdlc02\armor\deadhorse\nvdlc02deadhorsestalkingf.nif" (already handled by More Modest Type4)
(Optional): T4 Female Reshaped Variety Armors
I recommend cherry-picking here, these are the ones I use:
  • Main File: Powder Gangers
  • Optional File: T4 J Graham Outfit
  • Optional File: T4 NCR Patrol Ranger
  • Optional File: T4 Spacesuit (hide/delete the esp)
  • Optional File: T4 Stealth and Assassin
  • Optional File: T4 Ulysses Armor
For Improved Vanilla Male Bodies users:
If using the "Outfit Conversions" optional file hide/delete the following files:
  • meshes\armor\1950stylecasual02\outfitm.nif
  • meshes\armor\1950stylesuit\m\nv_outfit_benny.nif
  • meshes\armor\lingerie\outfitm.nif
  • meshes\nvdlc03\armor\nvdlc03patientgown\nvdlc03patientgown_m.nif
  • meshes\armor\slaverags\slaverags_m2.nif
For users of macintroll's Wasteland Clothing HD V1.3 (as seen in salamand3r's New Vegas Visual Renewal):
Hide/delete the following files:
  • textures\armor\redracer\outfitf.dds
  • textures\armor\redracer\outfitf_n.dds
  • textures\armor\repconjumpsuit\repconnjumpsuitfemale.dds
For Titans of the New West 2.0 users:
Download the following files from Webb's Titans of The New West Patch Emporium
  • Main File: PAVE TOTNW PatchTitans of Steel Version (or Legacy version if you use that)
  • Main File: STARS TOTNW Patch
Titans is used in the screenshot of Scorched Sierra Power Armor but is not required for this file

Final Load Order:
If not using other mods mentioned, simply ignore them
  • Wasteland Clothing HD (and/or other clothing texture mods)
  • STARS TTW's requirements (follow one of the install guides carefully!)

  • IVB - Legion Armors Fixes

Load this patch after both STAR TTW.esp and T4-plugin.esp
Load the SawyerBatty patch after both SawyerBatty.esp and T4-plugin.esp
If using SawyerBatty and STARS, only use the STARS version of this patch.

Fixes:
tl;dr forwards STARS changes over T4's where applicable
  • Forwards STARS TTW's balance changes
  • Forwards all changes from T4-Modest.esp
  • Fixes the texture paths for Red's Jumpsuit, and Handyman Jumpsuit
  • Fixes the texture paths for Pre-War Clothing for both males and females
  • Fixes texture path for female Naughty Nightwear
  • Fixed texture path for female PipBoy On and Off nodes for TTW Reinforced Vault Sec. Armors and un-reinforced Sec (Sierra Madre) Armor, albeit in a hacky way
  • Reverts the mesh change to Scorched Sierra Power Armor (sets it to PAVE's as per STAR TTW)
  • Sets the Gecko-Reinforced metal and leather armors to STARS TTW's replacers
