Balanced for SWEEP but doesn't require it to run. The description compares new values to SWEEP values unless specified. 

Currently Included:
  • 5 Marksman Carbine alternatives and Marksman Carbine & All American replacers.
  • 2 Hunting rifle alternatives.
  • 1 new scope mod with a vanilla style icon

About the alternatives
They are designed to give the game more 'granular progression' as well as visual variety. The mods aren't over-powered or excessive.


Marksman Carbine
It Now it has a riser so that the new front sight doesn't block the scope, the hand guard is shorter, free float and the barrel & gas tube are visible.
- 2 less damage & 2 less crit. damage than vanilla (22), (scripted).

- 0.15 spread (0.02 more than vanilla), (scripted).
- 30 round mag size (scripted).

All American
The scope is heavily inspired by the scope for the M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle (Trijicon 3.5x35 ACOG Squad Day Optic).
- Matching Magpul style hand guard, with rail covers.
- new world model (scripted).
- 3 less damage & crit. damage (23), (scripted).

Marine Assault Carbine
- M4a1 style furniture.
- 20rd mag
- CQBR sight
- Glow sight
- 50 guns skill
- 5 strength
- 0.45 min spread
- 0.75 spread
- 25 AP per use
better accuracy & more damage than the assault carbine (20 vs 16).
lower armour penetration and rate of fire than the assault carbine (10 vs 12).
Balanced to be a better all rounder than the TTW Assault Rifle at the cost of some damage (20 vs 22 dam).

Marine Spc. Purpose Rifle
- The barrel length is the same as the service rifle
+ Marksman carb. combat scope installed.
- Modified Service Rifle stock
- 0.1 lower rate of fire (0.9).
- 0.1 spread
 -45 guns skill
- 8.5 weight
- 16 Action points per shot.
- 5% Higher chance to hit in vats.

Marine Spc. Purpose Carbine
Meant to be a smaller semi-auto carbine for non combat roles like the field medic, balanced for early to mid game.
- Folding front sight
- M4 Carbine furniture
- 0.4 spread
- slower rate of fire than the service rifle. 
- 22 damage
- 35 guns skill

Light Marksman Carbine
- Gas block with no front sight
- Light barrel
- Shmeisser DMR pistol grip.
- 5.5 weight, 0.5 less than marks. carbine.
- 0.13 spread, 0.02 less than marks. carbine.
- 350 health, 50 less than marks. carbine.
- 45 guns skill, 5 more than marks. carbine.
- 12 Action points per shot, 2 less than marks. carbine.

Navy Marksman Carbine
- Heavy Barrel
+ Marksman Carb. Combat Scope installed.
- 500 health
- 0.13 min spread
- 7.5 weight

Hunting Rifle (From the gun runners)
- Better model with a proper mag well. 
- 225 health
- 1x crit. chance 
- 'Refurbished' stock
- Accepts all hunting rifle mods

1st Recon Hunting Rifle
- 55 damage vs 52
- 300 health vs 125
- 0.03 min. spread vs  the 0.1 spread with standard hunting rifles

How to find
The Gun Runners. 
  • Light Marksman Carbine: Gun Runners Tier 5. spawns in the place of the marksman carbine rarely at any level.
  • Marine SPC: Added to Gun Runners tier 2 leveled list, shows up in the place of the service rifle occasionally past level 13.
  • Marine SPR: Gun Runners Tier 5, Shows up in the place of the marksman carbine occasionally past level 17.
  • Marine Assault Carbine: Tier 5, Shows up in the place of the marksman carbine occasionally past level 13.
  • Navy Marksman Carbine: Shows up in the place of the marksman carbine occasionally past level 17.
  • 1st recon hunting rifle: Available at the gun runners (tier 5). You can't find it in the capital wasteland.
All guns originate from the gun runners in my point of view, for my own suspension of disbelief;
Because where the hell else would you get them?
I'll admit the gun runners aren't 100% realistic...
but it's better than nothing. Lookin' at you Bethesda.

Update 1.03

- Improved Marksman Carbine rail covers for other variants that use them.

All American:

Marine SPR:
- I replaced the marksman carbine stock with a modified service rifle stock that has the same length of pull
(the distance between the trigger and butt plate).
- Now has a regular marksman carbine pistol grip.

Marine SPC: 
-Improved gas block and folding front sight

Marine Assault Carbine:
- Renamed Marine Marksman Carbine to Marine Assault Carbine.
+ Full auto, i recommend B42 select fire
+ New model for the marine assault carbine
- Rebalanced The weapon to be a better all rounder than the TTW Assault Rifle at the cost of some damage (20 vs A.R's 22 dam).
half way between the assault carb. and assault rifle in terms of damage, accuracy and rate of fire.

- Renamed the Marksman Carbine variant of the same name to Light Marksman Carbine.

Update 1.01

- The fixed front sight for the marksman carbine and it's variants is way better now much more like the real m4, height over bore is increased (vertical distance from the bore to the sight).
- Every ar-15 type rifle with a scope AND fixed front sight has a new riser attached to the rail, to compensate for the increased height over bore.
- The hole in the marksman carb. top rail now has faces inside the mesh just like the mag well.
- Traced a wireframe cylinder to make the upper receiver for the ar-15s more cylindrical.

Marine SPC:
- Adjusted the dials on the rear sight so that the best looking number is facing the first person camera.
+ Castle Nut for the buffer tube.
+ A new folding front sight.
+ New MW2M4 style gas block .
- Changed the barrel from a standard barrel to a heavy CQBR barrel of the same length.

All American:
+ New AAC type gas block.
- Better top rail with a port for the charging handle.
- Extended part of the receiver to the inside of the hand guard.
- Rounded the rail sections on the side of the hand guard.

+ Consistent mags for every weapon that ain't rare or unique.
+ An M27 style rifle that's it's own platform except for the barrel, mags, stock and rail attachments, they'll be interchangeable.

Another weapon retexture project by eyteen, i'll make a patch for that mod which removes a lot of incompatibility issues that exist between WRP and other kit bashed mods like Tammer's weapon pack.
