About this mod

Made for Tale of Two Wastelands, this mod aims to fix some bugs, restore cut content, fix inconsistencies and other miscellaneous changes to make Tale of Two Wastelands more immersive. My first mod for Fallout New Vegas started out as a Powder Ganger overhaul mod, but then became a Tweaks for TTW inspired mod.

Bug Fixes 

Fixes Gaius Magnus’ combat style bug by changing it from NVDLC04CSMarkedMenMelee to NVDLC04CSMarkedMenMixed. This means he will use his minigun more often instead of automatically switching to his machete.

Gaius Magnus now wields a Machete Gladius instead of the regular Machete.

Diables a random Dead NCR Trooper in the Long 15. He looked out of place with all the skeletons and ghoul corpses.

There is a bug in the game that can occur where Karl still wears his Merc Adventurer Outfit when he is ambushing you. This mod gives him a unique Merc Adventurer Outfit that has a lower DR/DT than the Legion Explorer Armor so that he will equip the Legion Explorer Armor instead.

Fixes the Tesla Cannon ammunition cell ejection animation bug for better immersion.

Fixes the Forbidden Zone equations allowing for them to be seen more clearly.

Fixes various unlabeled dead NPCs that lack the “Dead” prefix or “Corpse” suffix. Still ongoing as not all of these NPCs have been renamed yet, so please let me know if you find one that I missed.


Collector Edition Playing Cards 

Captain Marie Pappas will now have a Laser Rifle. 

Canyon Runner now has a 9mm Pistol.

Chief Hanlon now wears a Ranger Brown Hat.

The Garret Twins both wear the grey Pre-War Businesswear outfit.



Restored Content


Restores the Lucky 38 Casino Poster that was seen in the Cinematic Intro.

Restores the Strip Wall Billboards that were seen in the Cinematic Intro. 

Restores the NCR Veteran Ranger Sniper and Dead Raider as seen in the Cinematic Intro

Restores the Radioactive Tumbleweeds.

Restores the Ghost Hologram worship mechanic in the Dead Money DLC.

Restores the Flat Cap.

Restores the Balaclava.

Restores the Scorched Sierra Power Helmet and it can be found on Colonel Royez in the Lonesome Road DLC.

Restores 30 of the Irradiated Radroaches to various locations. They can be found at the Toxic Dump Site (3), Cottonwood Overlook (3), Camp Searchlight (5), the Villa in the Dead Money DLC (3), Courier’s Mile in the Lonesome Road DLC (5), the Greener Pasture Disposal Site in Fallout 3 (8) and by the Trash Heap in the Point Lookout DLC (3). This also adds them to the Nuked Faction from Lonesome Road. 


Inconsistency Fixes

Mother Curie III has been changed from a Reaver to a Glowing One as she never wore Metal Armor. She is unique in that she still has the green smoke of the Reavers (rather than a glow) as well as the Gore Throwing Attack. 

The character Machete now actually wields a machete.

No-Bark Noonan now has a unique knife named “Ol' Sticky” as mentioned in his dialogue. It has the same model as the Trench Knife from the Operation Anchorage DLC.  

Doctor Adami will wear a full set of Winterized Medic Armor.

The Dead Merceny in Pennsylvania Avenue has been renamed Thompson and wears a full set of Talon Company Combat Armor, Reinforced. 

Various NPCs now have Pip-Boys. This includes Vault 34 Survivors, Boomers and a few named NPCs such as Chris Haversam and Keely.

The Wild Wasteland Alien Captain will now have the Mothership Zeta DLC Alien Captain texture.

Gives the Wild Wasteland Aliens the same voices as the Mothership Zeta version instead of them being all quiet.

Gives the Wild Wasteland Aliens weapons from Mothership Zeta including the Captain's Sidearm and Alien Disintegrator. They also all have the Alien Shock Baton as a melee weapon.  


Extras


The YCS/186 Gauss Rifle will spawn in the Brotherhood of Steel Safehouse if one has the Wild Wasteland trait. 

Chris Haversam now wears the Vault Scientist Clothing attire.

Adds ten “Combat Armored” versions of Feral Ghoul Roamers to the Nuclear Test Site area.

Mel will now wear Leather Armor, keeping in line with the Mel Gibson “Mad Max” reference.

Adds a new creature named “Lakelurk Razorclaw” and they are essentially just regular Mirelurks that can be found in the Mojave. 

Name Change: Shovel - Spade & Fertilizer Shovel - Fertilizer Spade
(Note: this change is also reflected in the various “Require to Dig” pop-up messages from the vanilli game and Point Lookout DLC)

Trash’s race has been changed to the Pitt Race.

Sun of Atom and Atom’s Champion both have the Fumes and the Glow of Reavers and Glowing Ones respectively. 

Disables the picture of the Lone Wanderer's parents in Vault 21.

Changes the name of the Chinese Stealth Suits at Hoover Dam to “Chinese Stealth Armor Prototype”as they do not have the same effect as the Operation Anchorage DLC versions. 

Changes the names of the small “Blind Deathclaws” to “Blind Deathclaw Baby” that can be found at Gypsum Train Yard.

Adds a unique Nuka-Cola Cap and a unique Sunset Sarsaparilla Cap to the Capital Wasteland and Mojave Wasteland respectively. 

Irradiated Deathclaws now glow like the Irradiated Radroaches. 

Name Change: Ghoul Troopers -  Irradiated NCR Trooper

The Ghoul Trooper enemies now spawn with other NCR Armor and Helmet variants.

The Ghoul Troopers now have a variety of one-handed melee weapons.

Gives Colonel Cassandra Moore Very Evil Karma.

Adds a single Albino Radscorpion boss in the Mojave and also adds them to the Radscorpion faction so that they are not hostile to the Mojave variants. It can be found near the Mesquite Mountains Camp Site graves.


Powder Ganger Related Content

Powder Gangers and Escaped Convicts have a chance to spawn with Balaclavas. 

Powder Gangers and Escaped Convicts have a chance to spawn with Flat Caps.

Powder Gangers and Escaped Convicts have a chance to spawn with Security Helmets.

Dawes now wears a Security Hemet.

Makes the two Escaped Convicts outside of the Nevada Highway Patrol Station resemble the Powder Ganger Faction icon.

Escaped Convicts now wear Powder Ganger Armor.

Escaped Convict Leader wears a Powder Ganger Guard Armor and a Security Helmet.

Replaces the Escaped Convict Leader’s Incinerator for a 25mm Grenade APW and his melee weapon with a Cattle Prod. 

Philip Lem wears a Powder Ganger Soldier Outfit.

Samuel Cooke wears a Powder Ganger Guard Armor.

The Vault 19 Escaped Convicts  have been renamed to “Vault 19 Powder Ganger” to match their ending slides.

Vault 19 Escaped Convicts now wear Powder Ganger Armor and a new set  of Powder Ganger Headwear Level Items. This does not include those who wear a full suit of Metal Armor.  

Changes the Powder Gangers in the NCRCF Watchtowers to “Powder Ganger Guard”  and gives them a Security Helmet and they now wield Service Rifles.

Adds a new class of Powder Ganger called “Powder Ganger Hunter” and they are equipped with various Shotguns.  

Adds a new class of Powder Ganger called “Powder Ganger Rioter '' and they are equipped with 25mm Grenade APWs, Grenade Rifles, Grenade Launchers and a Riot Shotgun.


Raiders

The Vault 3 Fiend named Daniel now wears a full set of Metal Armor just like the other named Fiend called Duke.

The Vault 3 Female Fiend Boss will now wear a Fiend Helmet, Biker Goggles and Raider Commando Armor.

Name Change:Vault 3 Female Fiend Boss (named Fiend in-game) - Fiend Bodyguard



Caesar’s Legion Related Content

Gabban now wears Legion Explorer Armor just like Vulpes Inculta and Karl.

Karl will now have a Legion Vexillarius Helmet in his footlocker instead of a Legion Explorer Hood. He will also wear it in the “Oh My Papa” quest encounter.

Reverts Alexus and Dead Sea back into the rank of  Recruit Decanus.

The Gladiator Armor now has a unique model.

Centurions at the Battle of Hoover Dam have a chance to spawn with 2 more different armours. 

Renames the Legion children to “Legion Trainee” and these are the two children running around in The Fort.

Adds 4 Glowing Legionary Ghouls to Dry Wells.

The First Recon is now equipped with both versions of Boone’s Recon Armor (except for 10 of Spades).
