Changelogs
Version 3.0
Carried over the changes from PushTheWinButton's Essential DLC Enhancements Merged to fix issues such as the ghosts not turning hostile when you get close to the fountain with the hologram or when you switch the holograms off.
Fixed the light on the hologram not appearing when the hologram at terminal 1 is activated.
Version 2.0
The "worship breaking" trigger now covers the worship markers, as per the notes in the trigger's script.
Version 1.5
Fixed the triggers not being initially disabled.
Overview In the Villa, there's a hologram terminal near the police station that serves no purpose whatsoever, but did you know they were originally going to have one? That's right, you would've been able to use the hologram to distract the ghost people and the ghosts would've worshipped the holograms around them, rendering them passive. This would've allowed you to sneak past them easily. When you stand too close to the fountain, they would become hostile again.
Considering the ghosts are supposed to be attracted to the holograms around them, this would've been a nice addition to how story connects to gameplay. This feature was even fully coded, there are also markers for this feature, but unfortunately went ultimately unused due the triggers needed for it weren't placed in the game world. This feature is still mentioned sereval times in the DLC, however.
I spent plenty of time restoring this feature and additionally, there was also supposed a second terminal for another hologram near the police station, but none of them were used, so these were restored aswell.
