About this mod

Introduces variations to gun animations and movement. No more cloned animations! Everyone moves differently.

Changelogs
As of v3.0, you should delete any installation of "Weapon Animation Replacer" [WAR]

  • As of v3.0, WAR is included in the main file of this mod
  • New mechanic as of v3.0: Whenever anyone (you, npcs, companions) gets crippled in any part of their body their animations will revert to vanilla, or whatever you have installed as your base 3rd person animation, ex) Asurah
  • Given how often people get crippled in this game, this will add more variety to what you see on-screen and a visual cue as to who is currently crippled

Description
Spoiler:
Show

This mod combines the animations in Weapon Animation Replacer (WAR) with kNVSE to make everyone's movement in game different.

After all these years, the 3rd person animations by joefoxx082 are still the best imo. But anyone who installs WAR comes across this conundrum:

Which stance and weapon-holding styles to choose? You can choose only one. Consequently, everyone moves and holds their guns in the same immersion breaking way... so sad.

But now, with the magic of kNVSE, you can use all the animations at once!

Installation
1. Install kNVSE
2. Install Show Off NVSE
3. Install this mod (see the notes below)
4. DELETE ANY INSTALLATION OF WEAPON ANIMATION REPLACER (WAR) YOU HAVE INSTALLED

Notes
1. Version 3.0 fundamentally changes how this mod works. If you are upgrading from a previous version, please do a re-install.
2. I recommend you use more recently released 1st person mods such as FNV Clean Animations or Anniversary Anim Pack.
3. To get Asurah Reanimation Pack to work with this mod install the optional "Player EXCLUDED" file.
4. If you want to customize WAR MiX you can use the "meshes\AnimGroupOverride\FalloutNV.esm\14" folder.
5. The new crippled mechanic means that when crippled the animations will revert back to whatever you have installed as your base 3rd person animation mod (or vanilla if none). I think Vanilla animations look peculiarly crippled so I just use that as my base.
