I'm not quite sure how to make cyborgs. I've picked up the Mad Scientist Perk, and I'm standing over a body with my Brain Saw. My robot Cap is at 1 of 6. I hit it with the Brain Saw, but the only option I have is to extract the brain. I have robot parts, Doctor bags, Stimpaks, Fission Batteries, and various other parts, but I don't see a way to make a cyborg... If I click the Robot Spare Parts I can make a Roach, Hover Brain and a ScuttleBrain though...
No idea bro. If you're using the corpse of a lobotomite it wont probably work......maybe you need to crouch activate it? Or crouch hit it witht he brainsaw? I was able to do it once but now i dont even remember.....
I'd like this answered too, I have the exact same problem. I can make robots and junk bots fine but for some reason when I try and make a lobotomite it only gives me the options to search or extract the brain.
I am standing over a mountain of Dog corpses just to get this mod to work.
I have no robot companion so that is a free slot. I have the perk Mad Scientist. I am using the Robco saw. I have Doctors bags and even Stimpaks. I have Robot Spare Parts. I have Dog meat for days. I have Dog fur for days. I even got other parts and not even those work. NVSE is active / working. NVSE:5 says on command. Version it's Robco 1.12 (not the beta).
And the only thing I can do it's a stupid RoboRoach by clicking spare parts. Or extract dog brains from intact dog corpses.
I want a cyberdog army (Well just 2. But still). I can build other robots. I just don't know how to make Cyborgs work and it's driving me crazy.
Finally! After digging and digging for info on how to make Cyborgs I have found the solution.
[ For making some Cyborgs: Like Cyberdogs ] 1.- You need the ingredients [ Duh ]
2.- You need the build a robot machine from 'Cerulean Robotics Building' on Freeside. [ It will be broken so you have to repair it first. ]
3.- Once you build the cyborg you want from the Robot Machine. Just take it out of your inventory.
4.- Enjoy your new Cyborg.
[ The guide FAILS to mention the need of using the ROBOT MACHINE. So I just keep killing dogs for no reason or getting my pockets full of dog brains. ]
[ For making Human Lobotomites or CyberDeathClaws ] 1.- You need the ingredients + corpse of human or Deathclaw that is mostly intact.
2.- Crouch next to dead body and hit it with the bonesaw once.
3.- It should show you a menu asking you if want to create lobotomite. Just click on it. [ If the menu only shows extract brain, it means you are missing ingredients. ]
4.- Your creation it's ALIVE muahahahaha.
I take the liberty to also post another solution to people that might know of the existence of the machine, but they still can't make Cyborgs or can't see them. That is NVSE not installed correctly so the model will not work correctly in game.

Step 1.- Have the basic materials to make cyborgs in hand + Mad Scientist PHD perk.
Step 2.- Collect 2 of the unique dog brains (You need one on your pocket and one already in it's corpse). [ These can be obtained from Rey, Violetta or Lupa. You will find these dogs doing Rex unique quest. "Nothin' but a hound dog".]
Step 3.- Crouch next to the intact dead body of the unique dog with robco brainsaw in hand. Hit it once with it.
Step 4.- Click build Cyberus from the menu that will pop up. If no menu shows up you are missing parts.

Hi, I am using this mod while playing as a child character in my game. The problem is that once I unlock the first ability, I keep getting the repeated message that "children can't use that". Is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you so much.
