  • Progress Update - Dekuuna: Elcor Extraction

    Dekuuna: Elcor Extraction

    * * * * *

    The elcor are among my favourite races in science fiction. I grew up on the science fiction tv shows of the 90's and 00's (Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, Firefly.) and the elcor were a revelation - they were so alien compared to the usual aliens with some prosthetics on their faces. While playing through successive games I got annoyed that they reduced races like elcor and hanar to memes. So, when I received the assignment for an evacuation on the elcor homeworld, you could say I was excited...

    ...and it turned out to be a bloody fetch quest!

    Suffice to say, I was annoyed. Dekuuna: Elcor Extractions was one of the most disappointing moments I have ever had in my many, many years of gaming. When I eventually sta...

  • Mods Localization

    Информация для переводчиков модов.

  • New Modder Here

    This is my very first mod I have ever uploaded so be patient with me if there are any issues. I will be working on other reskins involving various characters so I will be quite active on Nexus if anyone has any questions. Please enjoy!...

  • Technical information and Instructions for Mod Developers

    This framework streams in characters from files with the BioNPC prefix instead of leaving those pawns within the main level package files. If you want to edit the appearance of these characters, you can edit the appropriate pawn within the BioNPC and mount above this mod (which mounts extremely low at 2503). This way your mods will be compatible with other edits of other characters, or mods that need to edit the main files but do not edit characters (i.e. dialogue mods, etc.)

    Some BioNPC files have more than one pawn. This is because different pawns may be present in the same scenes, sometimes different scenes require different types of pawns, and sometimes pawns have different properties like light environments. Below is a list of the pawns in each package, how they are tagged...

  • Future Content for Reaper Retrofits

    The Future of Reaper Retrofits

    * * * * *

    I've noticed a few people talking about ideas for what to add to the mod, so I thought I'd list the different things I have considered so far and leave the article open for anyone to suggest ideas for Reaper Retrofits. The more ideas the merrier!

    Bear in mind that the idea is to make it feel immersive with Mass Effect 1 & 2, rather than to change things for the sake of changing things. With that in mind, let's get to it!

    TO DO

    - Leviathan DLC Collectors; This submod is still in the works and needs to receive additional polish to complete. When it is complete, it will mean that Collector forces are fighting side-by-side with the Reapers during the DLC missions only.

    UNDER CON...

  • Progress Update - Patch 1.3.1

    Patch 1.3.1

    * * * * *

    Patch 1.3.1 is a minor update to LE3 Diversification Project. Here is a breakdown of what is included:

    New Meshes

    Thanks to Mith and NaNuke, all c-sec officers will have radios of the same design. The original mesh comes from the radio that human c-sec wear in Mass Effect 1, and it was reshaped to fit salarian as well as both female and male turian heads. These have been rolled out across the Citadel, but not yet added to the Citadel Coup. Mith has also edited Jacob's outfit to fit the proportions of drell and made it so the textures are tintable, meaning that we can have more diverse outfits for drell in the game.

    Additionally, Mith has provided me with new turian military radios based upon Garrus' radio in ...

  • Progress Update - The Road to Patch 1.3.0

    Introduction

    * * *

    As many will know, the core concept of 1.3.0 patch -- the Hanar Embassy -- has been teased for a very long time, including in the recent N7 Day showcase, so I wanted to update everyone on my progress for that mission and to add some teasers and hints at what else is coming either in, or before, it comes out. A quick note before we start; there is no definitive release date for 1.3.0 but it will be out next year.

    That much is certain.

    Let's begin with the most well known portion of the upcoming patch.

    * * * * *

    Hanar Embassy

    Work on the embassy is progressing slowly, with the bulk of the effort focused on converting Grissom Academy combat areas into underwater sections of the ...

  • The Final Squadmate Choice

    Modding the Armax Arena is very difficult, there are host of prefabs, sequences and so on that all have to be edited, and all have to line up exactly right to work. It's some of the most difficult modding I've done because of the amount of exports you have to keep track of. Because of this, I will not be expanding the console to allow for lots more squadmates. As it is now, there is only one squadmate slot left to fill.

    So I thought I'd open it up to suggestions of who you want to see filling that final slot. Is there a favourite character of yours who was never a squadmate but that deserved to be?

    I'm open to any idea that could would work with the canon. So if a character is always dead at this stage (or isn't met) then they are not applicable. For example, nei...

  • Mission Weight Breakdown

    A breakdown of which missions carry how much weight in freeing up Alliance Resources. Based on how much it affects the Alliance.

    UNC: Rogue VI = +2

    UNC: Besieged Base = +1-3

    UNC:Negotiations = +1

    UNC: Major Kyle = +1for the mission being completed

    UNC: Dead Scientists = +3 if both Toombs and Wayne survive. +2 if just one of them survives survives. +1 If neither survives. In order to get the point for just the scientist surviving, Hackett needs to say that he's being put on trial.

    UNC: Geth Incursions = +10 - must complete the entire mission and get the debrief from Hackett to get the points, no partial points here

    UNC: Missing Marines = +1 - must report back to Kahoku and get the message about Cerberus...

  • Edit Breather Emis Color

    For the Alliance Breathers and Jack's Breathers, feel free to edit the emis (glowing lights) to a color to your liking.

    Steps:

    Install Legendary Explorer Nightly by going to the Tools tab on ME3Tweaks.  Install any required dependencies.
    Open BIOG_HMM_HGR_BRT_MSHEP using the Package Editor.
    Go to Options > Properties > Show Color wheel.  Click on it so it now has a check mark.
