    Mod Compatibility Post

I'll list mods that people have asked me about here, along with their compatibility and resolution status. Feel free to ask me about mods and their compatibility and I'll check and add them to the list as I'm able to do so. I can also make combined patches that merge the changes from one or more of the patches in optional files upon request.

    Compatible Mods:

    Incompatible Mods:

If you get flickering or floating objects while using this mod, try moving it to the bottom of your load order. If that fixes the issue, please let me know what mods you have (that aren't in the lists above) that may have edited USAF Satellite Station Olivia. If you need more detailed help or support, it's easiest to find me on the mod.kitchen discord server.

Did you load this mod after raider children, as specified in the stickied comment directly above yours?

Looks good. This will help with the 'big abandoned location' feel. Well,at least at Olivia.

I just wanted to throw a quick thank you for the great looking mod.  Personally I think it is VERY lore friendly as it is meant to be an area that is being lived in by raiders, and thus it is easy to assume they would have gathered (probably by force) some nicer things to make their lives easier.

I'm also really happy to see it is compatible with  USAF Satellite Station Olivia How It Should Be as I felt that mod added a lot of flavor to the area.

How so? All the patch does is move a chest and a few items around it in order to prevent objects from clipping with each other.

Hey man, i just want to report compatibilities issue with ELFX - PreVis Precombine Patch by Exoclyps. So, i had installed ELFX and with your patch put after ELFX -PreVis patch.esp and massive flickering object like wall, and some item there, even tho i tried to put your patch before previs patch there are still some object like locker, and table are still flickering although wall is no more. Is there any plan to update your ELFX patch so it can get working alongside with Exoclyps patch?

The appropriate load order for ELFX - PreVis PreCombine Patch should be:

      • ELFX
      • ELFX - PreVis PreCombine Patch
      • People Live In - USAF Satellite Station Olivia
      • People Live In - USAF Satellite Station Olivia ELFX Patch
Alternatively, if you are using People Live In - A StoryWealth Patch, just load that patch after ELFX and the other required mods and you should be good to go without using my ELFX patch at all.

In terms of mods that provide their own precombines, the general rule of thumb is that more specific mods go after less specific mods. So for example, a mod like PRP that provides precombines for most of the game would go before a small location mod that adds its own precombines, and if a patch is necessary, that patch would go after both PRP and the location mod. In this case, the ELFX PreVis PreCombine patch is a large scale precombine mod that would be in the same category as PRP for my example.

I have a lot of flickering issues lately, does the mod need an update for the latest PRP update?

I tried loading it before and after PRP.

This mod should be fine so long as you load it after PRP and any other mods that affect the interior of USAF Olivia. If loading this mod after PRP didn't help, it sounds like you may have another mod afterward that may conflict?

During my time patching mods I've noticed that it's best not to lower light fade value in base form. Your ELFX patch lowers base candles fade value. And then if there's a fade value override in a cell you will see light falloff invert or something like that. It causes dark area around light source. I think that happens when fade modifier in a cell makes the final value negative. It's a bug I've been trying to fix for a while. Reverting fade values to vanilla fixed it.

...I actually know how I missed that one. Normally I make a habit of checking my mods and patches for wild edits, but the ELFX patch I made for this mod involved so much back and forth between editor and game that by the time I was done with it, I had a pretty nasty migraine. Made it pretty easy to miss a base game light source that got caught alongside my overrides of lights from USAF Olivia.

I've uploaded a fixed version, and I've archived old versions of the patch because that kind of edit has unintended consequences across an entire save.
