Introduction: I'm someone that loves to exhaust every single dialogue option in RPG games. I spam the interact button so I can hear every single unique dialogue.
However, this is a problem in base Fallout 4, because it chooses dialogue via a random pool. Meaning you could potentially never hear the unique specific lines for a location/quest/event because it's buried behind constant RNG dialogue fodder. Not to mention, it's absolutely grating to hear your character say the same line "your thoughts" over and over again.
If you've played fallout 4 for a while now, you know what I'm referring to. Companions and the player always repeat the same lines multiple times.
I also wanted a dialogue overhaul that was strictly a dialogue overhaul. No additional feature creep of quests/lore/vendors/etc.
Overview:
This mod solves two problems.
1. The protagonist now has more variation in the "Thoughts?" prompt for companions. Instead of always saying "your thoughts?", there are 6 more lines that the Sole Survivor can randomly say. Things such as "Curious to what you're thinking" and "What's on your mind?"
Strangely this was only implemented in the base game for Preston, but never applied to any other companion. Yes, Preston.
2. Many of the generic idle and commonwealth dialogues for Companions now have a 24 hour cooldown timer attached to them. Once you have exhausted these options, they should not play again in 24 hours. This should reduce the pool of available dialogue so you can hear more unique locational commentary from your companions when asking of their thoughts.
Currently only the vanilla companions are covered (no DLC companions).

Ensure this mod has the highest priority (lowest) in your load order.
This mod is compatible with Icebreakers and Flirty Commonwealth, however the dialogue from those mods will repeat as they are not flagged to have a 24 hour cooldown
