The Castle underwent renovation, alteration and addition, transformed into a self-sufficient Minuteman Barrack.
This is a Transfer Settlement Blueprint. Requires the mod "Transfer Settlements - Shareable Settlement Blueprints"
Main areas include:
- The General's Private Quarter with ensuite bathroom
- Officers' twin room x2 (2 beds each)
- Veteran's twin room (2 bed)
- Recruits' dormitory
- Public bathroom
- Kitchen
- Dining
- Juice bar
- Infirmary
- Greenhouse
- Market (weapon, armor, restaurant and clinics)
- Armory
- Defence bunkers x3
Minimum mod dependency. Only requires:
- Modular Kitchen - Required
- CWSS redux v4 - Required
- Settlement Objects Expansion Pack - Required
- Build Your Own Pool - Required
- SnapBeds - Not essential but recommended to accommodate 20 soldiers. Alternatively, put in your own beds
- Power everywhere - Not essential. Alternatively, use your own long-range wireless power transmitter
Performance friendly, it has less than 600 objects.
Note:
This blueprint is based on the vanilla Castle. Any mods that edit the exterior cell of this settlement may cause incompatibility.
Some items were added via console command. You will need to have Place Everywhere and use the extra objects selection function to move or scrap them if you need to.
I did not use any scrap mods other than the extra objects selection function of Place Everywhere. This blueprint requires no extra scrapping of unscrappable/undeletable objects in the vanilla game. If you don't have Place Everywhere, some of the objects can be disabled and deleted via console command.
This settlement was designed to support up to 20 people. The double bed in the general's quarter does not contribute to bed count.
Installation:
Installation (Mod Manager)
Just add the file to your mod manager and install it from there. The default blueprint slot used is 22.
Installation (Manual)
1. Download the file and extract it.
2. Copy the ".json" file to the /data/f4se/Plugins/TransferSettlements/blueprints/X/ folder in your game. The last number should be changed to whatever slot you wish to use.
Before import: scrap everything (you don't need any scrapping mod for this) except the armory. I use many of the original items in the armory. It is best to scrap items in the armory after importing
Select the following options:
- Import DLC items
- Import mod-added items
- Import wired power connections
- Restore snapped power connections
