About this mod

Home made optimization pack for 'Fusion City Rising' + 'Hookers of Commonwealth' + 'Outcasts and Remnants' + 'Project Valkyrie' + 'Depravity'.

Includes facegen data, fully generated precomb/previs data and several minor tweaks for QoL.
Optionally 'Fallout 4 VR' compatible version is available.

FOMod Installer with Customization Options:
  • Now mod is provided as as single FOMod installer format. No AIO nor Individual, fully customizable via installer dialog and almost any combinations of mods are supported for your flavor.

Lighting Source Replacer Compatibility:
  • Compatibility for lighting source replacer mods is built in. These include, but not limited to, ENB Lights Overhaul or Immersive Candles.

ESMifing Ready:
  • Necessary NPCs are flagged persistent to support ESMifing. Just flagging ESM in FO4Edit would work. This method is fledging for Fallout 4, but is considerably good for both performance and stability. Please refer MOFAM - An Advanced Guide and Modlist for Fallout 4 page for detail.

Flicker Fixer Support:

Workshop Locations are Optimized too:
  • Cell optimization for workshop enabled locations seen in 'Project Valkyrie' and 'Depravity' is included.

== What's included ==
FaceGen Data(NPC face optimization):
  • FageGen data for NPCs from 'AA FusionCityRising.esp', 'AA FusionCityRising - HotC.esp', 'OutcastsAndRemnants.esp' and 'ProjectValkyrie.esp' is included. Textures are resized into 1024x1024; same size as vanilla's.
    NOTE: FaceGen data for 'Depravity.esp' is not included because that mod already has its own.

Precombined Meshes/Previs Data(Cell optimization):
  • Precombined meshes and previs data are fully generated for every interior cells and necessary exterior cells. I preserved vanilla's optimization for exterior as possible. Exceptions are: cells with extensive edits(e.g. 100+ refs added), cells with mods/dels to valilla's refs that I decided absolutely necessary(only one deleted rubble is not the case).

Custom Tweaks:
  • (FCR)Companion Peter and Spike are flagged persistent. So they should become less likely to get lost.
  • (FCR)Prevent Club Fusion Radio/BGM shutting down and becoming silent.
  • (FCR)Make Club Fusion BGM 'Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul' compatible; Not become too blur or complete broken.
  • (FCR)Companion Peter has his own race 'FCR_PeterHumanChildRace' rather than edited vanilla 'HumanChildRace'. This alleviates possible conflicts with other mods, especially when ESMifyed.
  • (FCR+OAR)Make affinity dialogs properly show up for companion Peter, Spike, Ash and Gabriel. If they won't talk after 'XXX idolizes you' message, try talking to them and wait few moments.
  • (OAR)Stop Vault-Tec's teleport visual effects behave strangely; No continuous effects nor effects occur suddenly when sneaking.
  • (PV+DP)Appearances of reused actors (includes Nora/Nate, Elder Maxson and Kasumi) are inherited from vanilla's. So you install looks overhaul and they'll take changes too.

Sinstitute_Teleport Plugin(Optional):
  • (PV)Optional plugin enables fast travel to the 'Reformed Institute' in survival mode. This tweak is considered experimental because it involves edits to 'InstituteLocation' record. Probably it's safe to install after completing PV's main quest line. 

VR Compatibility(Optional):
  • Optional plugin replacer that tweaks dialogs of companions and venders. With the tweak, bartering or trading items means end of conversation because otherwise dialogs become invisible.
Dedicated VR support for PRP Variants(Optional):
  • PRP + VR variants includes least error resolver for Unofficial Patch that is requirement of PRP; revert back conflicting changes to VR default, inject missing records into Fallout4.esm. But do note that use of the patch in VR is officially not allowed therefore don't expect working perfectly nor bother patch's author by sending bug report or else.

BA2 Builder Windows Script(Optional):
  • If you want to pack mods into .ba2 archive, I've got a support script. Please refer included README.txt for usage.

  • Install 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization' from this mod's download page. FOMod installer will suggest default option base on your load order. Check them and click next.
  • Verify load order. 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization.esp' must take precedence over any other plugins that edit conflicting cells. Interior lighting plugins should reside above too. If something in the world is missing or flickering, try later load order. Example load order is below.

== Bashed Patch Generation (New in v2.1) ==
Optional FO4Edit script named 'MergeCell' is provided to import CELL record modifications made by other mods like interior lighting mods or Region Names mods. Follow steps below to run the script.
  • Download and extract FO4Edit.
  • Download 'MergeCell - Thuggysmurf_Optimization' from this mod's misc file section.
  • Extract downloaded file and drop 'Edit Scripts' folder directly into FO4Edit's.
  • Run FO4Edit and load 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization.esp' plus plugins you want to merge changes. Load 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization.esp' lastly.
  • Right click 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization.esp', select 'Apply Script...' and evaluate 'MergeCell - Thuggysmurf_Optimization'.
  • Modifications will be applied into 'Thuggysmurf_Optimization.esp' directly. Save and exit FO4Edit.
