Future Updates I consider this mod to be completed and will only be updating to fix bugs.
Dynamic Furniture Ideally, I want to split Dynamic Furniture off in to it's own mod, or a framework for other mods to make use of. As it is currently, it needs an extensive rewrite to better manage the game's resources. I currently am not playing Fallout 4 or working on new Fallout 4 projects so this is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Fallout 4 VR This addon pack is not compatible with FO4 VR, and I cannot provide support for VR players.
I tested it with the current version of SS2 and WSFW and it is working. How are trying to power it?
If it's snapped to a vault wall and you have a municipal power plot, such as Cool Fusion, attach a Vault Power Grid Relay (found in the SS2 > Power menu) to the vault wall. If that's not working you can try resnapping the relay and the plot using the Move function in workshop mode.
If it's not on a vault wall, it will need a power pylon, just like anything else that can't be directly wired.
If it still doesn't work, try refreshing or rebuilding the plot.
Playing on Fallout 4 VR caused oddly place baskets of folded clothing and folded dresses/vault suits to randomly appear throughout the game. Not a single clue why, but I had to uninstall it.
There's a thread about this in the Bugs sections. It's also mentioned in the sticky post above. Superstructures did have a similar issue, but instead of baskets, it was leaving an entire building model. I imagine the "test version" file attempts to fix that.
I do have FO4 VR now but have hardly touched it. Maybe when I have time I'll look in to it again and see if I can make a VR patch. Currently I'm wrapped up in another project so I don't know when that will be.
Yeah the VR patch did fix that issue. And the interesting bit is that those building models were in the same location as the clothing baskets. At least it certainly seems that way. It's really great walking through these plots using a VR headset. I love the modding community. You guys are doing awesome stuff. Without the mods VR Fallout sucks, but a few mods turns it into a wholly more enjoyable experience.
Must haves for VR: Sim Settlements 2 (tricky to get working) VR Weapon Overhaul (replaces See Through Scopes) Weapon Accuracy Redone Realistic Reaverb and Aimbience Overhaul Interiors Enhanced 2.0 Bullet Time V.A.T.S. VR Be Seated KabutoVR Fallout4UpscalerVR (A really nice performance boost using DLSS/FSR) and the most important to not break immersion for me is - VRCustomQuickslots - I know that FRIK is better, but FRIK causes issues with Amazing Follower Tweaks which I love too much to not have, and this will get the job done. I'm using Left Leg, Right Leg, Left Shoulder, Right Shoulder, Back, and Stimpack above head. It's so much better than having to touch the inventory. Pistol on back, Shotgun on Right Leg, Melee on Left Leg, Battle Rifle on Right Shoulder, Sniper on Left Shoulder. I am a walking war machine. It's so much freaking fun.
I'm happy to help you test any patches if you don't feel like setting up Fallout 4 VR.
its working except for the Mechant plots, I have materials galore, assinged a settler to it, but it still won't start the construction. I check asam says not enough resources, but it doesn't even give me the calculation window. Anybody else had this problem?
I've actually had the same problem, but it's an easy fix I believe and it worked for me. The commercial plots usually goes for how many residental plots you have, you can however change it to how many population you have instead:Go into Cityplanner holotape Options > Gameplay > Immersion > Commercial Requirement. You have the option for how many population, residental plots or just turn it off entirely.
I have an bigger issue with people walking around in the Vault when I try to build it myself tho, so rather gonna check a building plan for it.
I enjoy the mod, however, there is one thing that would make it perfect for me and that would be a plot for multiple residents and perhaps some industrial related plans. Keep up the good work.
I'm trying to download the file but MO2 keeps giving me a connection timed out message. It won't let me manually download either. Other mods work perfectly. Any solutions?
That's outside of my control. It's working fine for me currently. I've had issues with Nexus pages being slow the last several days. Maybe there's some ongoing problems with their servers. Try again later, or get it from Bethesda.net if you're desperate.
Updating to this version on an existing save and I cannot pull up the Municipal - Sanitation version, just the Deprecated Recreational version, of the bathroom plot.
So the restroom still shows up under recreational instead of municipal for me. Tried resetting building plan caches, reinstalling the mod. Only shows power room and water pump under municipal. Restroom still appears as recreational.
i have a stable load order and already running sim settlements 2 chapter 2. I installed this mod, and the game wont launch. it launches, and 5 seconds later, it closes.

Not needed for non-VR FO4.
Renumbered FormIDs since it seems like formIDs below 800 have issues on FO4 VR.
New Game / Clean Save which hasn't had previous versions installed is required. Thanks to raidensnake#3837 for testing this version out!

I figured it out. Even though I used the unlock all commands from the tape this didnt unlock till I started Vault 88 quests. :P
