About this mod
Deeper player voice (male and/or female) for Super mutant playthrough.
Optional patches for selected mods and DLCs.
- Permissions and credits
To my surprise i couldn't find any fitting voice replacement mod (or it was lacking patches for all the other mods i wanted to use), so i made this.
And since you are here, if you are interested in super mutant playthrough, you may also want the FEV Family looks menu presets, and FEV Player to make mutants friendly.
I am no audio wizard, so i just adjusted the pitch of all male and female player voice files by -20%.
It sounds a bit wacky at times, but better than having a normal voice when playing as a "Super mutant" (see the linked video to hear sample of the replacement voices).
Installation
All plugin files are flagged as ESL to save your precious plugin slots.
- Install the main mod
The mod has separate archives for male and female voices - you can use only one, or both, depending on whether you want to replace only male voice, only female voice, or both.
If you are using Automatron, Far Harbor, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World DLC, use the All-in-One version of the main plugin (you will still need patches for other mods, but none of the DLC patches).
. - Install any required patches found in the "Misc" files section
Each patch is split into two separate downloads for male and female voice respectively - you can use only one, or both, depending on whether you want to replace only male voice, only female voice, or both voices.
If using Outcasts and Remnanats, Depravity, Project Valkyrie, or Fusion City Rising - all those mods are distributed as "loose files" (no BA2 archives), so a patch for any of them must overwrite the original files - let the patches do that.
Consequently, there is no need to worry about plugins load order of the patches for any of these four mods, because the patches have no plugins that would need sorting (only these four mods! Patches for other mods do have plugins that will need to be sorted).
