    2. What is written here will probably no longer apply in newest versions of UUF3P. I did not thoroughly checked the newest version of it, because I have better things to do. Like playing other games, staring at stars and/or simply enjoying the real life.

  • Better indexing of UUF3P after cleaning it

    1. What is written in this article will probably no longer apply on newest versions of UUF3P.
    2. Great difficulties to understanding of what was written in these articles may be surmounted by patience and perseverance in reading them multiple times.
    To be more concise, these articles were based on UUF3P version 2.3.2 and older versions of XEdit which are *very* obsolete now.
    If you did not notice yet.
    3. With newest XEdit 4.1.5 you can still apply the indexing of *any* mod that contains custom-created entries.
    Provided that you know what you are doing.

    Tips for further reducing the stuttering and better game performance:
    1. In C:\Users\User_Name\Documents\My Games\Fallout3, Fallout.ini look for:
    bPreemptivelyUnloadCells=0
    and set this value to 1.
    bPreemptivelyUnloadCells=1;0
    It was recommended in New Vegas section of Nexus (with very good results) and here:

    You will also find a lot of other tweaks (NVAC use, enb, ini settings, etc.) that works like a charm on Fallout 3, too.
    Note:
    Even if was suggested in that video, do not set bSelectivePurgeUnusedOnFastTravel to 1...

    1. Fix for a bug in version 1.61 where Following In His Footsteps cannot be continued after killing the GNR Behemoth.
    2. Fix for a weird bug in Enclave camp 31 where the vertibird will spawn landed on the ground (in the ravine directly, instead in flight).
    3. Rory McLaren will die of sadness (after finishing Rescue From Paradise quest), if you tell Penny to leave without him (fix computer or repair electric box path). His stats are also corrected.
    4. Tweak for DLC05MZ3QuestScript (responsible for This Galaxy Ain't Big Enough...). Runs better now, not that lame as before.

    Porta-Shelter prattling about his ants.
    If you enter in dialogue with him, he'll give you the quest. If you do *not* enter in dialogue with

    1. 100 less strain on battery consumption, if you use wireless controllers. For some unknown reasons, the vibrations are not deactivated, if you tick the "Vibration off" in game menu. Even if they are "off", the controller will still vibrate when you reload the last save.
    2. Lucky Harith will sell (one time only) 1 Infiltrator and 1 Lever-action Rifle.
    3. Doubled the damage, doubled the fun for 10mm pistols, .32 pistols, 10mm SMGs. A caveat though - if you deal x2 damage against them, they will also deal x2 damage against you.

    1. Fortune Finder is Luck based. Higher your luck, higher your chances to finding caps in loot. With luck=10 (ex.) your chances to finding caps in loot are tripled.

    3. Feral Ghoul Reavers and Super-mutant Overorld are (much) easier to kill. No spikes in difficulty for higher levels.
    4. The annoying "bullet tracers" are removed from all projectiles (except Miniguns). Bullets have now only 1% chance of "tracing". The VATS kills are much more spectacular now.

    Starting with version 1.5, the "Fallout 3 Stutter Remover" mod is no longer needed. Use NVAC (New Vegas Anti-Crash) mod instead and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

    2. Paradise Falls NPCs scripts revised. Another source of micro-stuttering further reduced.
    3. Fix for Andale residents scripts. They will also disappear after being killed.
    4. Fix for Red being also killed even if she is enslaved, if the Super mutants wiped out Big Town.

    1. Fixed a bug in Fixes 1.1 (and 1.0) related to Ewers and Schenzy's doors in Arefu. Thanks MOJskyrim for pointing it.
    2. Fix for RL3 not greeting you after buying it. It should greet you (correctly) now.
    3. Fix for Bryan Wilks MS04BryanWilksFindPlayer package. He should look after you even in the axe of nowhere, as long as you are in exterior and NOT in Megaton area.
    4. You can stop and start the Planetarium Projector in Museum of Technology West Wing as much as you like. You have to wait though, until it finishes its dialogue line. Blissful silence is blissful.

    1. Moira's script revised. She still had a bad habit to no being behind her counter at 8 o'clock and being stuck upstairs.
    2. Fix for some hidden activator which should tell her to come after you, if you visit her "boudoir".
    3. Donovan's wrench and Junders' Plunkett finger will no longer be quest items. You can drop them from your inventory as many times as you like, keep them as collectibles or throw them in the nearest dumpster.
