Complementary Re-Recoloured

A reshade that enhances the colours, shading, and lighting, and complements the Re-Remaster and Shader Overhaul mods.

I do caution you that depending on your monitor, this may or may not look good.

I created this reshade using Dark Souls Remastered in fullscreen mode with HDR at 144Hz.

If you're not playing the game in fullscreen with HDR, this shader may look awful.

Adjust the brightness to achieve the best results with this shader. Personally, I have to use maximum brightness because everything is far too dark, even darker than Vanilla Dark Souls.

This mod does the following:

Reduce/eliminate texture LOD (Level of Detail)
Increase draw distances, less pop-in of mappieces and objects
Untie special effects/particle effects from mappieces/collisions.
Effects render from further away and volume is increased.
This mod takes a conservative and disciplined approach. It does not seek to alter
the game's look, it does not add additional lighting, it does not remove spot lights or
remove baked shadows. In other words, it tries to look authentic to the original game,
and yet a still noticeable visual upgrade.

New solution for UI bleeding

A recently released mod "Reshade UI Masker" allows Reshade to not affect the games UI. 
This seems to be a much better solution then what is currently in place for this mod so I'd recommend everyone using this mod to switch to this method and disable the UI masking shaders in Reshade.

I have not tested this yet however and as such ask anyone to give me feedback on how this method interacts with Souls Reborn.

REQUEST: Save file for bonfire crashes after Gwyn defeated

Several people have reported that their game started crashing whenever they rest at a bonfire after defeating Gwyn. I have tried many different things and am unable to reproduce this issue on my end. If anyone is currently experiencing this issue, please upload your save file for me. This is an issue that I will not be able to fix unless I am able to experience it myself and properly test it....

This tutorial applies to versions 1.5+ of the program DS Texts Mod Helper (DSTMH).

Overview

DSTMH is a modding tool mainly designed to facilitate the work of mod translators. It can read/write batches of files for all Souls games supported by SoulsFormats:
