DS Texts Mod Helper
Souls games texts mod helper
What is it
A modding tool powered by SoulsFormats to manage texts in Souls games.
This program is mainly designed to facilitate the work of mod translators. It processes text entries from the games FMG files, but this is NOT a FMG editor as such. Please read this tutorial for more information.
How to use it
1) Extract these files anywhere in the same folder:
- DS_TextsMod_Helper.exe
- SoulsFormats.dll
2) Run DS Texts Mod Helper
3) From top to bottom:
a. Select a mode to process files
b. Drag & drop some FMG input files
c. (Change values of the Options fields)
d. (Check the results with the Output preview)
e. Create new files with button "Generate output file"
To give it a try, you can use the files provided in the "Sample data" folder. This is text data from Dark Souls 2 SotFS vanilla and mod Seeker of Fire (*)
Version notes
The last version uploaded here on NexusMods is Release v1.5.1
