UPDATE: To anyone who wants to recreate this look in-game, I highly recommend eagull's mod Becky Hair (the Shorter - Smaller Gap Version). Huge props to eagull, who altered his original mod to fit this concept at my request.
This is not the first time I've tried to recreate the Maja Felicitas Concept Art V (the one with the red hair). The cosplay concepts from Maul Cosplay and his wife Maja Felicitas were some of the earliest pieces of artwork for Cyberpunk 2077 I ever saw. According to what I've read, the design for both versions of V all started with the two of them. The one I'm specifically referring to is the one with bright red hair:
For some reason though, this particular colour scheme is not available in-game. The closest thing we do have is magenta-coloured hair with red highlights. Not only were the colours reversed, but they were way off from what I was going for. With a little modding, I've replaced that colour scheme with the one you see here:
DETAILS
This mod is as simple as can be (which is naturally why I'm the one making it). It's so simple, I actually don't know how much detail I should include/how much background it really needs, so I've basically included everything I could think of.
Cyberpunk 2077 stores RGB colour codes in a file that controls the different hair colour schemes you can use in the character creator. After leaving this project sitting in my mod folder and marked as "WIP" since well before they released Patch 1.3, I finally got around to locating the correct colour file and changing the RGBs. What we have now is basically something that was already in the game, but in reverse.
DONATIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED
I just set this all up a minute ago. It all feels very awkward. If you like my content, donations would be greatly appreciated. If not, I understand. This is just a free-time hobby.
INSTRUCTIONS & USAGE
*INSTALLATION:
Copy the "archive" folder directly into your Cyberpunk 2077 directory
Open the appearance editor/character creator and select the hair colour swatch highlighted above (Hair Color 24)
***Obviously, this mod will not work with any other mod that replaces the magenta/red hair already in the game (Hair Color 24)***
BRIGHT VS. PALE + PURPLE VERSIONS
The first finished version of this mod contained very bright red hair with magenta highlights. I'd been playing around with a second version featuring slightly paler red and a more purple highlight. I finally got around to finishing it. There are now 2 versions of this mod if anyone's interested.
