About this mod

Fixes body parts clipping / glitching through a lot of clothing by using ArchiveXL's extended tag system.

ArchiveXL includes a system to force the game to hide specific PC body parts underneath equipped pieces of clothing. There are a lot of base game clothing items that always seemed to glitch and warp around the player's body when you equipped other clothes on top / in a certain order. I started this for my own game back in 1.6+, but never finished it until now. This mod (currently) only includes the base game items. Not Phantom Liberty items or modded items. It also only prevents body parts from clipping through clothes. It can't do anything about clothes clipping through other clothes.

This mod edits base game ".app" files to force specific body parts to despawn when those items are equipped, so it should be fully compatible with any sort of retexture mod. Mesh replacement mods may have issues if the item being replaced was meant to cover large parts of the body. If you replace the turtleneck with a tank top, for instance, you might see parts of V's body turning invisible.

I've covered all the items that I know for sure have clipping issues, but feel free to report any I've missed. I also haven't had the time to test every single item myself, so feel free to report any problems. The following items are covered (currently):
  • All boots (Boots_01 - Boots_12)
  • All "High-Tops", "Tongues", "Sneakers", "Athletic Shoes", "Street Shoes", & "Kicks" (CasualShoes_01 - CasualShoes_07)
  • All "Turtlenecks" (Shirt_02)
  • All Netrunning Suits (TIghtJumpsuit_01)
  • Johnny's Shoes
  • Legendary Rockerboy Boots
  • Legendary Netrunner Shoes
  • Legendary Media Boots

DONATIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED

I just set this all up a minute ago. It all feels very awkward. If you like my content, donations would be greatly appreciated. If not, I understand. This is just a free-time hobby.
