What Is Faerûn Utility - FU?

Faerûn Utility - (FU) is the ultimate all-in-one cheat utility mod that adds over 850 cheat spells you can cast any time, or any place.
The cost to cast these spells is nothing. Cheat spells do not use Action Points or Spell Slots.
Spawn any rare item, potion, instrument, spell scroll, weapon, or piece of equipment, directly into your inventory.

Go invisible, grow tall, shrink small, crank up your stats, lower your stats, add Hit Points, crank up your AC, add immunities,
imbue your weapons, spawn Gold, call multiple summons, turn NPC's to stone, turn them back to flesh,
instant kill single foes, or completely devastate an entire group. The list just goes on and on! Cheat big, or cheat small.

There's endless combinations of ways to shape and overpower any, or all, of your player characters!!

BECOME A GOD!!!!

How Does FU Work?

By simply equipping the FU: Ring, you(the player) will have access to the FU: Cheat Library.
This library holds 87 custom cheat spells. Use them whenever you want. Or not at all.
I've found it's good to have handy for "just in case" moments.

  • Once this container is in a players inventory the FU: Ring can be removed/unequipped to free up a ring slot.

More Q & A

QWhat can't be spawned with this mod?

A - No food, common items, common weapons, common armour, or useless items can be spawned with FU. Only above average and useful items have been included.

Q - Will spawning reward items from a quest line break my game?

A - No. Doing quests as normal will still work fine if you have the reward item already in your inventory, or equipped. You will simply receive a duplicate of the item when you complete the quest.

Q - Will this mod help me cheat dice rolls?

A - Absolutely! The cheat spell "Lucy Dice" will give you a huge bonus to dice rolls. Also, the FU: Ring has a built in passive ability specifically to cheat the dice. It's also called "Lucky Dice", and it can be toggled on or off at any time.

QWill this mod get updated with the new weapons/armour/and items spawns?

A - Yes! More items will be added in later updates.

Q - Why should I get this mod? I don't cheat.

A - This mod is designed for anybody who plays/mods BG3. It's not just for cheaters. Maybe you've done numerous play throughs and wanted to try that cool weapon you never found before. FU can help. Maybe you forgot to save before a long battle and you're down to 1 hp. FU to the rescue. Maybe you're a mod author just testing out your mod, and need to get to certain area quickly to run tests. FU can speed up testing time significantly. Personally I use FU for a backup "just in case" scenario. You never know when you could use a little bit of help.

Q - Isn't there a mod out there that spawns all these items already?

A - There is a mod that will add all items yes. But FU is different. I have cherry picked though practically every item in the game to bring just the best items to the table. No sifting through hundreds of useless items you would never need. You can spawn items directly in front of a player of your choosing, anytime, anywhere. This mods spell container libraries are categorized, and every Weapon spawn spell is detailed with stats, so you know exactly how powerful the weapon is, and what magical boosts come with it, even before you spawn it. No guess work involved. Also this mod is equipped with the best cheat spells you will find for BG3.

Q - Will all of the spawned items work as intended?

A - From what I have tested, yes they will. Armours and Weapons that didn't function properly due to not being finished assets, have been omitted from FU. Some items may cause some interesting things to happen though. I have marked these with CAUTION or named them CURSED items. Use them at your own risk.

Q - Why can I keep some spawned items from this mod permanently, and others disappear after a long rest?

A - You have an old version of FU installed. The newest version works differently. Items spawned are now permanent unless it's a spawned container.

Q - Why FU? I'm offended by the name, and the icon art!

A - Baldur's Gate 3 is rated Mature 17+

I chose the name and the icon art because of the humorous irony. It makes me laugh, and you should too!
