    • Drumlin Pond

      In making this settlement I found that the cell with the pond in it the pond is borked , cant edit it and in cell properties ticking the previs thing put a whit ring around the pond ,,

      I opened up a default drumlin map and the same thing , dunno what if its a mod I have or if it is borked .
       I did get this map to compile up . but I had to do world instead of cell , just doing cell was a flickering hell. Your setup may be diff so I did not compile this , It is not nuch work to do so. And if someone wants to pick up on this and go with it do so I do not know what I do....

      Until further notice, all my Rebuild mods will be hidden until a) I can fix them OR b) Beth fixes this bug. This issue is far reaching across all my Rebuild mods and I can't even begin to determine just how much it has affected them all.Example: 



      1. Load order?

      PPF.esm (This is part of PRP if you are using it)
      Rebuild - Shared Resources - Put this high in your load order. It is all new stuff and will not conflict with any other mods.
      Rebuild AIO or Standalones
      Rebuild Patches (excluding Previsibine patches) - Also check the file description as I normally put load orders there for the patches.
      PRP.esp (If you are using PRP)
      Rebuild Previsibine patches - Put these low in your load order.

    • Previsibines and PRP

      Previsibines is a slang term for previs/precombines which are a couple of ways that the game improves performance.

      PRP refers to Previsibines Repair Pack (PRP) Stable Branch. This mod contains 2 plugins, PPF. esm which contains a ton of bug fixes, and PRP.esp which regenerates previsibines since PPF.esm breaks them.

      Precombines: Everything in the game is made from a mesh. Precombined meshes are a bunch of meshes merged into one, so instead of 10 meshes getting loaded only one does, which improves performance. If a mod changes any of the items placed in the world (also know as a reference) which has a mesh that are part of precombines, then it will "break precombines".     • How to make a FluffWorks patch from scratch - no Creation Kit or dependencies

      I had to deconstruct the FluffWorks mod to figure out how it works, and I must say it's very clever. This article by SkySinclaire explains how to make custom texture, but it only works for creatures with existing models. Even if you have the right texture, the model itself is what gives it the floof.

      If you're just retexturing a vanilla animal that's included in the base FluffWorks mod (or any of its patches), that's all you need to worry about as the hard part's been done for you. But if you have a custom creature model like mine, that won't work. Here's how I did the fluffy possums:

      You'll need:
      a base (non-fluffy) model and its texture, either one you've made or from another mod with permission, installed the proper places in your Skyrim/Data folder

      Overview

      This guide documents the process I have used to transfer a mesh from one character model to another. This should work with assets for FFXII, FFX, and FFX-2. I transfered a generic Viera torso to Ashe. I do not promise that this process is optimal or even free of errors. I just kept trying things until something worked.
