What's the purpose?

Geralt will always have the Kaer Morhen Set appearance to your favourite Witcher Set School. Not matter their stats or inventory icon.
Armour set will have the Kaer Morhen appearance, Swords (scabbard included) will have the Vesemir Swords appearance, and Crossbow will have the Relic Crossbow appearance.

This Next Gen version include multiple fixes to some inconsistence change such:

• Wrong armour/sword to change or missing armour/sword of the witcher set to change
• Crossbow was change to all crossbow
• Sword didn't evolve into Grandmaster appearance
• Missing fix for the amour collapse
• Wrong way to fix hair behaviour
• And a new version for Forgotten Wolf Set (Netflix Set)

I only replaced the equipped template and left the inventory icon alone. You can still tell them apart easily in your inventory/stash or when you craft new sword.

Installation
For newcomer/beginner: I invite you reading The Tome of Witcher 3 Modding

0 DON'T USE VORTEX!!
1. Use Witcher 3 Mod Manager, or extract the files in your game's directory Witcher 3 Wild Hunt GOTY Edition.
2. Launch Script Merger and merge the script if it conflict.

How to uninstall?
Delete any the folder that begins with "modCR" in the names. Then launch Script Merger and remerge again.

This is a XML mod that may affect one of the following files, depending of which version you use:


So don't forget to run Script Merger.
If you wish to use on the Classic 1.32, install the original mod.

Know Conflict and how to resolve it.
- Brothers In Arms: It's Brothers in Arms compatible. Meaning you can safely merge to all mods EXCEPT Brothers In Arms, because KM Replacer mod use the same fixes from that mod. So put BiA in lower priority than this mod.
- Alternative Witcher Scabbard: Put KM Replacer mod in higher priority.
- The Essential Weapon Rework: You should merge with this mod and select KM Replacer code when in Merged Conflict.
- Lore-Friendly Scabbards: You should merge with this mod and select KM Replacer code when in Merged Conflict.
- Swap Witcher Armour Appearances + Swap Witcher Swords Appearances : They share the same purpose but affect all Witcher Set School of the desired appearance. Obviously don't install KM Replacer if you already use it.
- Swap Crossbow Appearances: Only "Cat" and "Bear" aren't compatible because it change their crossbow appearance, while that mod allow to change all crossbow to a single appearance.

- The Essential Weapon Rework: Statistics rework of all Relic and Witcher swords to make them unique and powerful.
