Changelogs
I made this mod for myself, for fun and immersion. I use hundreds of mods, so other cooking mods conflict with other mods I have already installed. Besides, they add new food items, while I only needed recipes for fried meat, apple juice and edible wyvern eggs. The closest to what I was looking for was Gastronomic Alchemy, but it conflicts with Gwent Redux, Increased Creature Loot and it adds some unnecessary, bugged new item.

All items are already present in the game, so it's not my fault a grilled chicken adds the same amount of Vitality as a raw chicken. But the recipes are balanced, e.g. Chicken sandwich restores 800 points of Vitality, which is only 50 points more than consuming the ingredients separately.

All recipes can be bought from merchants, they are also added to random loot lists.

Version 2.1
With version 2.1, I added all recipes to merchants in Toussaint and to another lootlist (same places where you can find transmutation formulas), to make sure everyone who installs the mod late in the game can obtain all recipes without going back to Velen. Toussaint vendors at least partially share inventory so some formulas can be bought from merchants I didn't include in the description.

Bonus
I added some ingredients to some merchants, see the changelog for details. The Downwarren trader sells no recipes, but I added milk and eggs to his inventory just to match his dialogue.

Optional files
2.0 includes a No-Script version, just to make sure the mod is compatible with other mods that edit alchemyManager.ws and alchemyTypes.ws. It includes fewer recipes and some formulas are less efficient, it's because in vanilla game recipes can produce only 1 unit of cooked item. However, I tested the main version with Geralt the Master Cook and it solves the bug, so in order to use both mods together, just install the main version and delete the modBasicCookingRecipes folder.

2.0-NoEggs version was made for a request, it doesn't include recipes for fried meat and eggs

2.1-NoJunk version: recipes don't require bottles, mugs or plates. You still need oil for potato wedges.

Compatibility with the Next-Gen Update

Thanks to ElementaryLewis, there is now a Next Gen version of the mod since the affected script alchemyManager.ws is different than the Classic 1.32.
So you only need one of the main mod, depending if you are on Classic or Next-Gen. The same apply to the optional "No Egg" or "No Junk".
As for the optional Acquired Tolerance fix, it has separate versions for 1.32 and 4.04.

Acquired Tolerance skill fix

I didn't realize all recipes count towards maximum toxicity bonus for the Acquired Tolerance ability. 33 recipes can make the skill unbalanced. Thankfully, crthdr pointed this out and even provided me with a fix for the Next Gen update (as I use 1.32 classic version). 1.32-Vanilla Fix only excludes recipes for edibles from counting towards the limit, but for those 1.32 users who added more recipes with other mods (eg. my other mod), I made a version that nerfs the skill even further: decreases the value from 1 to 0.5 (like in the Next Gen version) and excludes bomb formulas too (8 bombs*3 tiers plus 5*3 if you use Ard Bombs, one of must-have mods).
