4 small mods that change how four skills work seeking to improve usefulness, remove annoyance in use or make the skill work
at all.

All 4 mods are separate files, could be used either independently from each other or together.

1. Acquired Tolerance Adds A Bit

Ever have been frustrated that with all manuscripts collected the digit of the max toxicity with Acquired Tolerance is merely a point and a half off? Was it deliberately left for 214 (or, rather, effectively 213 as the last point can never be even used!) to be such a cap that not even a Cat potion can be drank on top of four mutagen decoctions? Or was it an oversight in balancing after the nerf of dye recipes no longer counting towards the skill?

I have decided to fix that. How? Add new recipes of some new unbalanced alchemy potions? Or recipes of potions that you'd never use because you only downloaded a mod to get these extra few points? No! I just add these two points bonus directly to the skill.

Acquired Tolerance
Level 1: old skill effect unchanged + Adds 1.0 maximum Toxicity
Level 2: old skill effect unchanged + Adds 1.5 maximum Toxicity
Level 3: old skill effect unchanged + Adds 2.0 maximum Toxicity

2. Delayed Recovery More Useful - Counts Potion Toxicity

What does the skill description say? Potion effects don't wear off until potion Toxicity falls to 85% of the maximum level. What is the potion Toxicity, again? It is the amount of Toxicity that is given by consuming potions, not mutagens. Mutagens do not give potion Toxicity, they give toxicity offset. So the maximum level of potion Toxicity equals maximum level of Toxicity minus offset. So you can actually fill this bar drinking potions after you already drank mutagen decoctions. Did it work that way? Nay! This skill was useless unless one plays with no decoctions!

Well, no more. I did it. This skill would work as the description says - literally. The potions would not last forever, it should work just like in unmodded game, but you can actually activate this skill now when you fill the remaining part of toxicity bar with potions toxicity to said % of remaining maximum - on top of toxicity offset.

I know there is a mod Delayed Recovery Fixed from another author that fixes this problem another way. Well, I didn't like the idea that the total toxicity would count instead of just the potion toxicity. This way one can just take a few mutagen decoctions and their potions would last 'forever'. My approach I consider more balanced instead.

Update: Also worth mentioning that the problem seems to be addressed yet differently in yet another mod from yet another author - Akatoshka's Skills (Classic and Next Gen), with change of the intention of the skill to consumption of the remaining time of potion effect.

My intention was instead to attempt to just make skill work as it says it should in description.

3. Metabolism Boosts Allows To Drink As It Should Have

The description of the skill said, misleadingly again, that Adrenaline Points will be consumed to reduce the Toxicity cost of drinking potions by 33% per point. So by 99% when all three points. No Adrenaline Points are actually 'consumed' by this skill but instead of reducing the Toxicity cost it was reducing the Toxicity after the potion is allowed to be consumed. No, I didn't made it actually reduce Adrenaline Points to 0, don't worry. Thought about that, and maybe I'll do such a version if there is a demand, but I don't think anyone would come for that. Update: actually learned, that there is a fix of AP consumption in Brothers in Arms bugfixes (I haven't tested yet).

I actually made that the potion is allowed to be consumed if there is enough free Toxicity points for the cost after reduction, not for the cost before reduction.

4. Fast Metabolism More Useful - Extreme Toxicity Hurts More

Well, I have never needed the skill Fast Metabolism because I preferred 4 decoctions for stable 200 Toxicity and until I made the mods above I was
rarely able to add anything else. Had a spare Manticore gear to switch when potions were really necessary. But if one didn't use 4 decoctions or uses mods above, Fast Metabolism skill useful, yet there was another idea for me to add. With all mods above someone can actually take 4 decoctions and then carefully fill the Toxicity to the 99% with remaining potion options. And Fast Metabolism would be less useful because of usefulness of Metabolism Boosts restored.

This last mod I made to my preference. I see it as both an improvement and a counterweight to the effect of mods above. So I'd recommend all four mods together. Basically, if we can take a potion over 200 Toxicity, probably with reduced Toxicity cost, and aim for Delayed Recovery to trigger, we can do it, but it'd wear off much sooner than without my Delayed Recovery mod, because the part of the Toxicity bar to be filled with potion Toxicity is less itself.

What did I change? Well, in Fast Metabolism More Useful - Extreme Toxicity Hurts More mod I made it that Toxicity drops slower when near the limit of possible. So Toxicity damage would hurt longer. Therefore, there is more reason to go for Fast Metabolism skill at least to take back some of this slowness. And if one fills the Toxicity to the very last point, then the Toxicity damage would double.

This mod's primary purpose is to balance other three mods above.

However, there is another way this mod could be used in certain builds - using the mod only to slow down Toxicity drop. If someone wants this customization option, here's the mod for it.
