    We are aware of an issue where games with custom NPCs may crash with a LoadActor error during festivals.

    We believe it is linked to the TMXL loading of festival positions.

    It can be solved in two ways:
    1. Restart the game. If the game starts on the festival day it seems to work fine.
    Or
    2. Remove the folder from this file labelled:
    [TMX] Jacob and Eloise
    This will remove them from all festivals. It will not solve the issues if you have other NPCs installed however .

    Their festival postion loading method will be adjusted next update. 

    Of my other NPCs, Jasper has already been adjusted into the updated format as have a few other NPC mods such as SVE and RSV.

    I've been trying to find, but I'm probably just conveniently skimming over the info, but where can I find a guide to heart events for Jacob and Eloise? I tried reading off the manifest files too but I suck at comperehending them ;;

      One will be written up when the 1.7 version is released, complete with all their heart events.

    I don't see East Scarpe on my map, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be on there or not but I thought i'd check. Did I do something wrong installing it?

      East Scarpe doesnt currently exist on the overworld map.
      Patching for that is extremely fiddly, especially since it is right on the edge of the map, but it is a feature we hope to inplement in future

    I have been using this mod for about half a year and really like it. But now I have run into a problem: Today I started a new farm (Still SDV 1.4.5 and ES 1.5.6), I went to the orchard after dark, but there was only ONE cherry tree, no other trees. From way back I know the trick of editing the save file and removing the bit where it says the trees have spawned, but I can't find it. So can you help me get the trees back?
    It would be very appreciated.
    PS: Still on old SDV because some critical mods have not been updated yet.

      Theres a debug command to respawn them. I'll need to send it to you later as I cannot quite remember it offhand. No need to edit your save file!

      It is:
      reset_es_orchard
      Enter that into your smapi console (the black screen that pops up)

    Hey there I just saw this mod on a video from gamingshark -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OnL-SEMzP8

    I have Stardew valley expanded, Ridgeside and Lunnar installed rn and was amazed by what modders can do now.

    I also have two single NPC mods I would love to see working together with your mod. Since the disciption says that east scarpe is a place for potential custom npcs How about working with the following mods together:

    Custom NPC Shiko: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3732
    Custom NPC Wilford who also adds a map to the same location. Maybe you can fuse the mods so he can still have his flower shop on your map :D -> https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7313

    And the Random visitors mod which could also be part of your new map. Maybe hire a room somewhere (like a hay hotel or a motel) and stay for a week or so. -> https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4911

    Just some ideas I have with this mod. :)

      I can't make edits to other people's characters without their permission, but if you want to make one yourself for personal use, I can teach you how. Join the Discord channel!
      I actually have a florist character of my own coming! Her name is Aideen and her portrait was designed by the lovely Hadi. She should be releasing around Easter or soon thereafter. I'm not sure how she would feel about Wilford, she has very strong opinions about people, but it could be interesting to have them meet. I would need to speak with Wilford's creator ofc. Shiko's creator has been absent for some time now, but I would be open to moving her in (she is better suited to Boarding House though).
      And funny you should mention the random visitors thing! We have an inn coming, and they could definitely come there, but one of my plans is to have temporary NPCs that will turn up perhaps for a season or two, or perhaps for a little longer, and maybe work through some events for them. The first to come visit will be Josephine and Oliver. I've got sprites for them now, and am starting to work on their story arc.
      Characters like Ulysses, Doctor Schnaubel and some of the others could be added to it too - but because they are not my creations I cannot move them officially without permission - though I can help people make adjustments for their personal games.

    Greetings, I really love this mod! However, I'm wondering if it's possible to fix the bridge or has that not been added yet?

      Try coming back after dark :)

      There will be a character/plot that will fix it permanently, but they are still a work in progress. Probably won't be October or so until that is released.

    Enjoying the mod a lot. I like the extra characters, Jacob and Eloise and found another character for this mod (Beatrice, the lighthouse keeper). I like seeing new characters in East Scarpe, really brings the mod to life. With that in mind does the developer plan on adding any new characters and does anyone know if there are any more NPCs available separately that are designed to live in East Scarpe like Beatrice?

      Aideen should be out early next month. I just have to write her marriage dialogue and 10 heart event.
      You can also add Nagito from ModDrop but will require a little DIY to fix the patch.
      Two other new NPCs are in the works from me and several more from other creators.

    I have reached 2 hearts with Jacob and Eloise's, I read the note for their heart events, but is hard to know what 'time' and 'location' these heart events is being held. I have to keep going in and out of the house to triggered the specific time for it, but I still don't know where is Eloise 'duck event' is being held at.

      For the Duck event:
      Enter East Scarpe between 10 and 4pm on a day that isn't a school day (so not Tuesday, Weds, Friday).
      And it won't trigger in winter.

    I can't for the life of me find the shrub we need to remove due to the new pathing. I've seen Eloise at the museum so I am assuming it's not too important...

      Maybe it didn't grow in your game? If they're getting around okay, it's nothing to worry about, but it's at the top of the stairs on the left hand side - if it's there at all!

    Hello LemurKat. Can I ask you to change the thumbnail image? It looks a bit ugly since I guess you used the full map screenshot, it looks all scrunched up in the Tracking Centre thumbnail. I still very much enjoy ES though =)

    I think this would really benefit from being accessable via Minecart, as it is it's a bit too far out of the way.

      But unfortunately adding a new destination to the minecart is outside my areas of expertise.
      I believe someone is working on a cjb warp expansion however and we have a tmx buildable obelisk in the works.
      Also you will shortly be able to leave via thr minecart at least!

      My preferred solution is Multiple Mini-Obelisks - turn on the outside farm option and it works really well.
