  • A brief guide to custom NPCs and accommodation

    So, you have a character you want to move into East Scarpe?

    Currently there are three residences available, plus the fisherman's cottage, and the lighthouse. However, if further NPCs which to move in, there is room for another 4-5 properties. Please note that it takes about an hour to walk to the JojaMart, and two hours to walk to the fountain near the community center and plan schedules accordingly.

    Houses come with a basic template and currently use modfied cabin exteriors. NPC creators are encouraged to decorate or otherwise redesign their house however they wish, as long as they remain within the parameters (12x5 tiles) of their fence.     THE PATH IS THERE, BUT I CAN'T ACCESS EAST SCARPE!
    You have installed another mod that is over-riding the town warps. These can include custom NPCs with residences in, or accessed via, the town map. It is a very easy mistake for map creators to make! I believe it can also happen if you adjust the load order of SVE (ie: by putting all the SVE files into one folder).
    If you experience this issue and cannot solve it, please post a bug report with a Smapi log and I shall endevour to track down the conflicting mod.
    ** Please note this will currently happen with " Lilla" (Mod creator has been notified of the issue, unsure if they will fix it).
