Hello, and thank you very much for this mod. It finally made me able again to start a no-buying run challenge.
A few mods I would like to see added, wel "few"....... I just went trough my files and linked the mods that aren't in your list lol and altho I would love all this, I don't expect them  all done. :)
Just 1 or 2 would already be nice.

Orangeblossom's Chocolate Valley at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
It adds 2 chocolate seeds 1 is sold at Pierre's and the other at the traveling cart. Both are availeble from first spring however they are pricey and therefore should have a rarer appearance in my opinion. It would not feel balanced if a pricey crop that holds for 3 seasons like ancient fruit would have the same probability as parsnips.

Grains Overhull at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
Not much to say sold by pierre

Roses Cruelty Free Meat (a Mod Inspired by PPJA Fresh Meat) at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
Because....... why not? lol  It's more crops!

Crops Galore at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
5 more crops for the crazy

Timsanity's Floral Megamix Redux at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
A big one to put yur teeth in!

Uncle Iroh Approved Tea at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
      Some more tea stuff

Interdimensional Harvest at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
I'm starting to feel embarrased by the cheer amount of cropmods in my downloadhistory.

Stardew Vineyard at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
      More wine is good right?

Lost in the Woods - Cannabis Breeding at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
These are sold all over the place, pretty much every shop in the game, 1 of its own and a shady seller behind the communitycenter.

Spooky Halloween Inspired Crops at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
How could I pass on halloweencrops!

Sekun's Crop Expansion at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
      I think I need to admit I have a serious crop-expansion addiction.....

Cannabis Kit - 1.6 for Content Patcher at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
      Uhm....

More Teas at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
I'm more a coffee person but hey.... more crops....

Plentiful Harvest - Crops and Cooking at Stardew Valley Nexus - Mods and community
This one I would hold off until it gets the big update but I link it anyway for completion of what is in my modlist.

Artisanal Honey Mead has a tiny handful of crops that would be helpful, but honestly you've done an incredible job supporting the majority of contemporary crop mods here.

I also think one of the other posters may have meant Neo's Succulent Farm Redux, which is 1.6 compatible.

Is there any chance you could add compatibility with Plentiful Harvest? I think Iceybreeze (commenter above) also requested that one. I was wondering what I was doing wrong until I finally thought to check if the mod was in the compat list haha.

Just sharing some hopefully helpful information.  If someone has AnythingAnywhere installed - They need to turn off the Place Anywhere option.  If it's checked, you will not get all of the different mixed seeds.

    Hi

I play with Sunberrry mod,  and this mod is giving me seeds for something that only becomes available after a quest - is it possible to change it?

Unfortunately that's not how the mod is intended to work. You get everything all in a jumble, even odd things like
      - stuff from the desert before you get to the desert
      - stuff from year 2+ when you're in year 1
      - stuff from ginger island before you unlock ginger island
      etc

Ever since I started a new save adding in Sunberry Village, this mod only drops vanilla seeds.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Not sure what might be causing that. Anything in SMAPI logs?

On a related note, compat to include Sunberry for all my mods is coming soon.

I'm not getting any sort of errors or anything in SMAPI.  I just know that I was getting all the seeds in my previous save and then I started a new save with Sunberry and now I'm only getting vanilla crops.  I've even tried making the rare seeds more common to drop than the common seeds but that doesn't seem to be making a difference.

Sounds like a loading order issue with Sunberry. Should be fixed in the next update, with the compatibility addition.

You may also want to check anything Sunberry does or adds in regards to mixed seeds. I'm currently doing a playthrough with Sunberry and it works for me. Maybe it's a config thing?

I have still never been able to figure out what is interfering with this mod.  Here is my smapi log - by any chance do you see anything that would be a conflict?  I did make sure the Cornucopia config was disabled.  I've tried pulling multiple mods out but I've not been able to figure it out.

Hi! I am running into an issue that I was hoping someone could help with. I downloaded and installed Bonster's Combined Crops, but I am not getting any of the seeds in my mixed seeds. I'm not sure why that would be happening - I did pop open the content.json file for your mod and it looks like BFV.CombinedCrops seeds are in the list, so not sure why they wouldn't be popping up in game.

When I looked at the Bonster's Combined Crops crops.json, it seems like the crop IDs match what is in your mod, though the textures do seem to be coming from BFV.CropsCombined vs. BFV.CombinedCrops, which I thought was odd. Wasn't sure if that would make a difference, since in the manifest for the mod the UniqueID does seem to be BFV.CombinedCrops and not BFV.CropsCombined...

Anyway, all that aside, I haven't seen a single BFV crop in my mixed seeds -- it seems to only be Cornucopia seeds (one of the only other seed mods I have downloaded). I did try to add Plentiful Harvest seeds myself by isolating the PH crop IDs and adding them in using the same format as the other entries in the content.json, but unfortunately I don't think those are working either (I'm sure that's user error on my end, haha -- I'm not too good at this stuff). Not a big deal overall, but I do try to run a no-buying-seeds playstyle and I'm anxiously awaiting access to the PH and BFV seeds, haha.

Any help or insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

Cornucopia More Crops has an "Enhanced Mixed Seeds" configuration setting that conflicts with this mod. Is that disabled?

Well, not only was option that not disabled, but apparently I had a mod called Seed Overhaul installed as well, which despite the name only edits mixed seeds... I went through my modlist over and over but kept missing it because it didn't reference mixed seeds in the title. /facepalm

Disabling the Cornucopia config and that mod seems to have fixed the issue. Without your comment, I never would have thought to check the Cornucopia config either, so thank you so much!! Not sure which one fixed it -- likely, making both changes -- but everything is working like a charm. Thank you so much!!

Edit: when removing the Custom Bushes mod, which a lot of mods like Cornucopia are relying on, then I'm good... I'm using a lot of crop mods, compatible with yours. Did you by any change add a bush seed from one of these mods?

Nope, only added crop seeds. I'm not sure what might happen if you enable/disable that option mid-play-through. Also, it looks like the error there is from CustomBush, not this mod or the game. The problem likely lies there.

If you could provide a SMAPI link, I could take a look.

Thank you so much for this mod! I missed Better Mixed Seeds from 1.5 so much, and nothing available really did the job. I love that you updated for the new version of Wildflour and the probabilities are a fantastic solution!!

I saw in an earlier comment that we're allowed to suggest other mods that add seeds and... I, uh, have a lot 😅
Would you consider adding any of Bonster's Combined Crops, East Scarp, Ilucie's Winter Crops, Joseph's Seed Shop, Lunna Astray, Passerby Cemetery or Walk to the Desert? Most of those only have 1-4 crops each, but a few like Bonsters and Joseph's Seed Shop are really comprehensive.

Since I play with such an unreasonable number of mods, I was trying to figure out how to add compatibility myself and
unfortunately wasn't exactly successful. I may have gotten sidetracked and hyperfixated on making a spreadsheet of all mods with crops that are 1.6 compatible instead. On the off chance it's of any help to you (or to anyone else who for some ungodly reason wants such a list), I'll link it? If you feel inspired to add compatibility with any of them, I would love that! But it's honestly unrealistic to ask someone to add in compatibility with 48 mods. I'm just glad there's an updated and maintained version of a mixed seed mod!

Anyway, thank you again <3 and hope the list is of some use to someone out there!

Added compat fof East Scarp in 1.1.0. Started there since it was small, easy, and quite popular. I'll try to add nee from the requested mods every 1-3 days, within reason

Note: Since I haven't played these mods, I have no idea what the seed's relative rarity should be, so they're defaulted to the Restricted group. I'm considering adding a different group altogether, more to come

If it helps here's how I would categorize the East Scarp crops:

       - Bird of Paradise Flower. You get exactly one seed after completing a special order for a NPC (Year 2 fall or later). Can get more by putting the flower in a seed maker, but that's it. Probably Unique? But planned to become sellable after the event in a future update.
       - Azure Chrysanthemum and Serruria. After a 6-heart event, can get these by trading another seed to the NPC, or as a gift a few times a year. Probably Restricted.
       - Moonflower. One seed for a NPC's ten-heart event. Probably Unique?

I'm not sure about the other crops added by the East Scarp add-on mods Eli & Dylan (seven "supernatural cryptobotanical crops") or Sword & Sorcery (ten "ancient druidic" crops in the blue ancient fruit color).

All right, this has been super helpful so far. I've in fact already found a couple of small crop mods I'm going to add to my own games, just for fun, so thanks for making me aware of those!

I'm going to keep working on adding compatibility for mods, so keep the requests coming. I'll likely start small and work my way up, so start with any mods with <10 or so crops. I can honestly knock those out in a matter of minutes, and I love the idea of having the scope of this mod expanded to include so many different seeds. With that, though...

My next version introduces an Unfamiliar Crops Probability Weight, for mods that I'm not familiar with where I can't identify how rare a seed should be. If anyone wants to provide information on when crops from these mods become available (just like halfrobo did earlier in this thread) I'll use that information and update those seed groups. These are really being included for the community, not me (as if I used the mods, I'd have details on how they're unlocked and available, and just update it myself), so I'd generally defer to how the community would like to see them categorized :)

Anyway, 1.2.0 is already in progress, and I've got Lunna Astray and Ilucie's Winter Crops included so far. I don't wanna bombard folks with updates every single day, so I'll batch them together into small-ish chunks, leaving those large mods like Joseph's or Bonsters for their own update later. Happy to knock out a bunch of small stuff now, though.

Also, if anyone's interested, I love the Machine Progression System, and generally only play personally with mods supported there. So if anyone has any mods they want to add to Oops! that are already supported by MPS, I'll prioritize those, as I can add them into my own game for fun.

Also, after checking out the spreadsheet and seeing the handful of mods RMS uses that Oops! doesn't, I kinda wanna start there as well, to give folks using RMS the ability to come over to Oops! and not lose anything. I'll prioritize those next as well.

@Halfrobo - I had completely forgotten that Eli and Dylan introduced seeds. I've added that mod to that spreadsheet because lists are my love language xD. Unfortunately I don't have any info on those two mods' crop rarity either as I haven't gotten that far, but they do sound pretty unique/rare.

@VegasOctober - So glad it helped and you found some neat stuff to add to your own game :D Makes sense to make a separate category for the unknowns and to start with smaller mods. As far as chiming in about rarity categories, for Ilucie's Winter Crops, they're just sold at Pierre's in season with no extra work involved. So, regular? As for Lunna Astray's crops, it's been a while since I played to the end of that storyline, but basically to access the seeds you have to get either: 6 hearts with the Wizard and the character in the mod (or 9 hearts with the character, depending on choices), and do a couple events and then visit a new location where the crops are sold. So... restricted maybe? Rare? Also, just a note, all of the crops in the same shop in the new location and are pretty much on par with each other.

Just one more thing to add. I did actually open up your code last night and tried to sit down and figure out how to add in Walk to the Desert (literally only has 1 crop, haha). And I think I got it, I'm just not sure if I named it right, so I want to mess around and test it before I declare victory, lol. I know it's not much help, but if you wanted it, you're welcome to it, of course (also, apologies if I'm cluttering up your pinned post)!

Awesome, thank you! I'll switch those over shortly. Sounds like regular and restricted, since they're still generally available in bulk, just gotta jump through some hoops.

Ya hopefully it's easy for folks to adjust as needed! Don't worry about providing a change for me - if I were more organized, I'd have the code up on GitHub where folks could contribute in earnest. Right now I just do all the development on my steam deck, haha, so I'm not organized enough to manage multiple contributors. Thanks though! Someday maybe, haha

Do you take special requests? I can’t wait for when the big 3 expansion mods are supported like SVE, Ridgeside, and East Scarp. They’re pretty much the backbone of the modding scene, with so many players relying on them for that next-level experience. It’d make a huge difference to have those working smoothly before diving into smaller mods that just add a handful of crops or seeds.

For wild seeds and crop farming, I’d say SVE, Ridgeside, and Cornucopia should definitely be the focus. They’re massive mods that really shape how the game feels, and getting them compatible would probably make the most players happy. I know it’s a lot of work, but it’s super appreciated—seriously, thanks for all you’re doing to keep the game fresh and exciting!

SVE and Cornucopia are already included and working. RSV doesn't actually add new seeds, but I've also already included support for ZoeyHoshi's RSV Forage Crops, which is pretty popular, and what I use personally.

I will absolutely entertain requests though! Keep 'em coming!

This is such a fantastic mod - I love the element of surprise and finally having a use for those 200+ mixed seeds I keep collecting.

A couple mods that I don't think have been mentioned that I use, for your consideration:

Alchemistry - adds 8 common crops and 4 'rare' crops but even the rare ones can be purchased from the mod's NPC without restriction. I would probably weight them all as common or common/restricted.

Gem Berry Expanded - changes up the Rare Seed to Fall Gem Berries and then adds gem berries for each of the other seasons (spring, summer, winter). These seeds are tied to a specific storyline and limited in scope so probably should be set to Rare or Unique.

@vegas, thanks for adding compatibility with the mods I requested even though they already were before I asked

Also fun fact, the seeds included in RMS but not Oops, according to the mod description of both, are:
      • Lumisteria Serene Meadow
      • Quaint Living
      • Quaint Living 2
      • Forage of Ferngill
      • Bonster's Combines Crops and Recipes
None of these mods are high priority in my recommendations as I use none of them

1.3.0 is going to include a bug remediation (but not outright fix) for winter planting as well as support for Bonster's. This is basically done, and I'm testing it now. I'll work on Joseph's coming up soon, and probably a handful of small mods since they're fast.

If there are any other specific mods folks would like to see included, please comment on this thread and I'll bump up their priority. If everyone's generally happy with stuff as it is, I'll chug away on others as I can, but want to focus on updating my other mods (Better Item Categories, Compatibility, and Limited Shop Quantity) with compatibility for those mods I've found here and am folding into my playthrough.

<3 Thanks for the updates! Also, seeing that you've added Passerby and WTTD and I know the context for those, I wanted to chime in. Passerby seeds (unless I'm forgetting about a random outlier) are all sold at an original festival that happens a few times a year. Not sure if that's a regular or a restricted. And for WTTD, the seed is sold in a little shop on your walk between the town and the desert. The only catch is that the only currency is shop takes are ancient coins (or something like that) that are in artifact spots in those new map areas. So, probably restricted?

Anyway, I realized it might be faster and easier if I just... provided context beforehand, rather than you having to go through the list twice. So, anyway, I added a column to the spreadsheet with context/explanation of the availability of the seeds in the the corresponding mod. Most of these are ones I've played with (and a lot of them just add the seeds to Pierre's), but a few I don't know despite having them in my game (Visit Mt Vapius, Eli and Dylan, etc). I also jotted down the thoughts on rarity of anyone who commented here so far. Hopefully I've remembered it all correctly, but if someone finds something inaccurate, that's definitely not impossible!

I may have been creeping on that spreadsheet and saw your notes :)

I'll start to fold this info in as I add more compat updates. Thanks so much for putting this all together and writing it down!

The only thing keeping me from using this one is the fact that one of the ones I use supports quaint living 1-2, forage of ferngil wildflowers, lumisteria serene meadow, and neo's succulents farm. If these are added, I will no longer have any reason to use the other less updated mod and i will gain quite a few other mods that the other mod doesnt support. The ones that are currently my highest priority are the ferngil suite and quaint living suite. I am super excited for this mod as the other mixed seeds mods dont seem to care about the err... seed being restricted like yours clearly does. Weighted seed probability is the best course of action either way. I might switch even without these other mods but it would certainly make certain mods crops harder to get at the moment if i dont. Thanks for this mod! Your other mod that is trying to solve item conflicts is also very important and im happy that both exist!

Version 1.4.0 adds support for Joseph's Seed Shop, Sweet Gem Berry Extended, and Alchemistry. Working my way along this thread's requests from top to bottom, next up are Quaint Living 1&2, and Lumisteria's Serene Meadow and VMV.

Yogfan, could you link to the Forage of Ferngill Wildflowers mod? Not seeing anything like that in the Forage of Ferngill I found. Also I will not be provifing support for Neo's Succulent farm, as it hasn't been updated since 2021.

Version 1.5.0 adds support for Lumisteria Visit Mount Vapius, Quaint Living, & Quaint Living 2. I'm going to look into Forage of Ferngill more next, but with 1.5.0, I now have support for every modern, requested mod, as well as all those supported by Re-Mixed Seeds - a major accomplishment if I do say so myself.

Once I figure out what's up with FoF and potentially add support, I will unstick and retire this thread, opening up a spot for official mod compatibility requests from the community.

1.5.1 added support for Forage of Ferngill. Unsticking this post, as all mod requests have been fulfilled :)

Thank you so much for making this great mixed seed mod. I used to use Remixed seed mod and tried to switch to yours. But the mixed seeds only produce vanilla crops.
I have tried to adjust weight and toggle on and off from Cornucopia's mixed seed configure. I deleted Remixed Seed mod and started new game. Nothing worked and there's no SMAPI error either. I have plenty of compatible mods installed. I don't have Anything Anywhere installed.
Is there any ways for me to do troubleshoot or check anything thing to fix this?

Does it include ALL vanilla crops, or just the few normally included with vanilla mixed seeds?

I don't see anything jumping out to me, so my best guess is that you've got another mod that's overwriting the functionality of the item extensions mixed seeds. I found that item extensions only allows you to OVERWRITE that functionality, not add to it. So if another mod loaded after mine changes mixed seeds, it'll blow away the changes from my mod completely.

For that reason, I'd recommend when using this mod, to make sure that any other mods or settings that change mixed seeds are disabled/removed. I'm not super familiar with many of the kids in your mod list, so I don't know what might be conflicting. You could try moving them out of your mods folder, then back in a group at a time until you notice the functionality break, to try to track down what mod is causing the conflict.

I tested it and turns out its a bit of a weight issue. I set all the weight to 1 and got way too many vanilla crops than others. Modded crops did show but just a really low chance. And no matter how high of a number I set other ones other than regular its still way too many vanilla crops. Ima keep testing. Ima keep testing

The weights have nothing to do with vanilla vs. modded crops, they're related to the restrictions on obtaining the seeds. The behavior you're describing makes no sense in relation to this mod, so I'd again wager you've got a conflicting mod overwriting the item extensions mixed seed somewhere. You can change those weights all day and you won't see any difference in behavior because this mod isn't actually in effect for you right now.

Thank you for this! I was using Re-Mixed Seeds before and I made a few manual edits to allow "illegal" seeds but it had a separate json for each compatibility patch and it didn't include all the mods that add seeds that I have, which if I understand correctly this mod does. This is awesome!

I did the same thing before realizing I should just rewrite the thing. It'll be much easier to keep it updated too. And I can always add compatibility for new mods too. If you come across mods you want included, lemme know

Besides the mods mentioned by others I think the mods I'd like to see included are Alchemistry and Quaint Living. For sure the most popular ones are a good idea to include: East Scarp, Visit Mount Vapius, Passerby Cemetery. I have a feeling you're going to have a bad time when Raffadax comes out of beta and people are going to start asking for compatibility with it lol

Luckily most if not all crops from Raffadax are also found as forage and have the ability to be put in the seedmaker ^^

Excellent idea! I've been itching for a good remixed Mixed Seeds mod and this is it!

Do you know about Cross-Mod Compatibility Tokens? It will allow you to use config tokens from other mods in your code, especially useful with mods that add configurable amount of crops such as Cornucopia.

So it turns out I don't need this. Yet, anyway. This mod currently handles the scenario where seeds from other mods are disabled. Well, Item Extensions does, anyway...

I will update the mod description page
