Part 3 in a series of mini-mods I have planned to add a little variety to the world and hopefully help it feel more alive. "Small changes to make a big difference" is my goal with little subtle details.

In the vanilla game, there is 1, yes one, version of the "SRopeFestivalLine" static item (those little flags hanging from a rope line that you see in Solitude). These are nice easy decorations that a number of Mod Authors use to liven up some areas...but, there's just the one type, so it always looks the same.

Well, not anymore!

Using the meshes I made in my modders resource (here), I've allowed for several new varieties of these flags to show up in your game.

This comes in 2 versions, regular, and SMIM.
Both versions are coloured using the overall colour palette of the hold which they represent.

The regular version uses the default ropes and only the flags themselves are changed. It provides 11 new versions of the Festival Flags.

The SMIM version uses SMIM ropes, so the ropes and the flags are changed. This allowed a little more variety, and includes 23 versions of the Festival Flags. The ropes also differ depending on the area they are used. So for example, Riverwood and Whiterun both use the same flags themselves, but Whiterun uses the nice clean "Riften" style ropes, while Riverwood uses the Farmhouse ropes. I tried to make the ropes used logical in this manner.

Using the fantastic Base Object Swapper, the provided  _SWAP.ini file swaps the existing models with my new models.

Below is some information on how you can adjust settings yourself if desired.

In the _SWAP.ini file, you'll notice:
"chanceS(100)" which is is the percentage chance of a swap occurring for the new flags. This is the default setting for everywhere except Solitude. It can be set to any percentage you want and is currently set to 100% so all the flags in a specific location will change.

"chanceR(50)" which is is the percentage chance of a swap occurring for the new flags, and only used in Solitude. Since Solitude already used the flags in the first place, I wanted to allow for both versions to be available here. Again, it can be set to any percentage you want and is currently set to 50%, leaving a 50% chance that no swap will occur.

The "chanceS" sections have an "S" at the end which causes the swaps to happen once, and remain that way for the remainder of your playthrough on that save file. Alternatively, you can change the "S" to an "R" to make the swaps happen anytime you load your save. For these particular swaps, I prefer the "chanceS" myself as moss growth really wouldn't change much during a playthrough.
Same thing for the Solitude line, but in reverse.

Any lines can be completely disabled by either deleting it, or just setting a ";" before it. I would say to just set the ";" so you can always enable it later if you so choose.

**Note**
For my screenshots, I'm using the AIO cities and towns mods by RubberSpaghetti, but any overhauls which use these flags, in the areas mentioned in the _SWAP.ini, will be effected. So, if you're using mods like JK's Skyrim it will still work just fine. Without mods overhauling the cities and towns, this wont do anything.

Compatibility:
Should be compatible with just about any BOS mod as long as they aren't swapping the the same statics as my file.

ESL flagged ESP,  and as always with my own work, permissions are wide open.
