bottom of compatibility section of description page :)
Also keep in mind this mod is for werewolves - not werebears however - no conflict but my mod affects werewolves etc. So if your not a werewolf you just wont turn.
Bottom of Description page under compatibility - also ...
Remember to look at xEdit for just a second or check out the description page! If you did you would see this mod doesnt alter any vanilla assets not the vampire lord not werewolf - no interaction will ever happen. I just look for the vanilla vampire lord power and if you have it then save you from dying once a day via just forcing the player to use the vanilla change form power instead of dying. That said its fundamentally impossible for this mod to conflict with any mod except for mods also trying to fire a spell or script right when or before you die - in those situations my mod may never get a chance to work thats all. It wont hurt anything
No this is for the player. I did make a separate mod that allows transformations of the Companions in Whiterun however - its a fully different framework to do that and its much much more complicated.
I would love something like this but with Undeath's Lich Transformation. Is it possible? It does act like the vampire lord and werewolf transformation.
though.. as a lich, you don't actually die. you respawn to your chosen area for your phylactery but still, transforming into your true form at low health seems like a cool idea.
In case anyone was wondering this mod has a slight incompatibility with Scion - A Vampire Overhaul. Scion cause vampires at stages 3 and 4 of vampirism (called undeath) to not gain any health from magical effects with the keyword "MagicRestoreHealth", the keyword used in this mods healing effect. This results in you most likely dying during transformation in stages 3 & 4, and getting a reduced healing effect in stage 2. I managed to fix it on my end by opening xedit and changing the Magical Effect: FE09CC06 keyword from "MagicRestoreHealth" to "MagicAlchRestoreHealth". Idk if this is the best way to handle it, but its work well so far, hopefully this helps anyone else who runs into this issue.
That was too heavy handed by Scion. If you break entire systems it will likely causes issues. I would actually even call this a bug with the mod Scion. By vanilla you can take a perk that heals you if you are near death in the restoration skill tree. What he did nukes that perk from orbit nullifying it. Which means he broke vanilla functionality. To your point on your fix, I cant even tell you how many mods alter or mess with the Alch Magic Restore Health effect so for a lot of people that wont work. For you it did tho so thats good but it will be case by case and I would recommend users just swap the magic effect themselves as a test if they want to use Scion.
If I were to design a perk to prevent the player form healing I would specify the exact healing sources I would want to prevent, by specifying spell. Or handling it a different way entirely to ensure compatibility and not be as forceful.
I understand, that's really good to know. So you would recommend swapping to another healing effect on a case by case basis if you were looking to use this mod with scion? Ty for replying and clarifying btw, its a big help.
My mod will work if you are a vampire or werewolf or both. You will need the spell to turn yourself into a vampire or werewolf. If that mod author does not use that spell then no.
Hey Edmond, love the mod! Is there a way you could hook a patch in to the shout/power transformation for the Feral Dragon Avatar mod, for Dragonborn's that don't want to be Daedric Thralls? (Werewolf - Hircine, Vampire - Molag Bal)
thanks, i'd like to image that the werewolve virus itself is a living thing and when close to death it would do anything to preserve the users survival because it also dies too. this helps with that roleplay
Any way to make this compatible with the vampire extension framework creation? That mod makes vampires turn to ash upon death and cancelling out this mod
That Creation does not cancel out this mod. Only NPC vampires turn to ash when killed not the player. The player is not allowed to turn to ash in that creation because it corrupts the game making loading the save no longer work. Therefore since this mod is only applied to the player making the player turn into a vampire lord or werewolf before they die and since the player doesnt turn into ash there is no interaction.
Moreover even if the player turned to ash this mod transforms the player just before they die. Meaning even if the player turned to ash when they die it wouldnt matter because this mod would kick in before that happens unless you were one shot or something.
I couldn't do it :( Could you send me a screenshot or something? I use XEdit but I know very little about it. The most I've done is change weapon damage or translate some item description.

I want to ask you, is it compatible with the new Cuse of the Dragonborn - Redux?
Thanks in advance!
Use the hybrid patch I offer if you are playing a hybrid though...

I dont think it would have conflicts but as im not good at modding might as well ask

Or, if there's a relatively simple way to do it through xEdit, could you guide me on the steps?

Sorry to bother you
