Hello all! I finally got this mod done haha! It's been a bit of a beast to work on but I think it came out pretty good!
So, what this mod does is it replaces the textures of the 'Vanilla' option (not actual vanilla werewolves, they are untouched by this mod) in the Moonlight Tales Mini skin selection. The goal here was to offer a fully customizable module appearance for your werewolf while not replacing any of the beautiful texture options in Moonlight Tales Mini. Thankfully, the mod included its own copy of Bethesda's vanilla skin, and I kinda figured nobody probably uses it? At least it's unlikely. So this replaces that with a fully custom choice between 70 fur choices and 71 eye choices, all interchangeable.
It includes a vast selection of textures from all over Nexus that have open permissions, or I was given written permission to share in this mod, in addition to some edited textures of mine. It includes all of Moonlight Tales Mini selection already, eyes and fur, and also Bellyache (4K), and numerous old textures that were given new life thanks to upscaling and opusGlass' texture upgrader GIMP script (also 4K.)
I repeat, this does NOT touch the actual vanilla werewolves of Skyrim! So whatever replacer you are using for that, will remain untouched. I actually hope in that it being the vanilla texture option, that Mini does not pull from it via summoned companions and whatnot? I'm honestly not sure, I haven't done enough testing, but the general goal was to allow the player to be a 1 of a kind or really close to it at least. Hopefully you won't see clones of yourself in your summons, that's totally up to how Mini works and I'll update this chunk if the answer is discovered. But for now! I can say with confidence that you will definitely be almost 1 of a kind haha.
The mod contains a mixture of 2 and 4K textures. Eyes were not touched, but the FOMOD will state if the fur texture is 4K or not. KrittaKitty's work was untouched by me, as I felt they were detailed enough in their 2K version to not need messing with, and I wanted to give 2K folks something to use.
Most of the other fur textures will be 4K, I personally don't have the time to offer a 2K version but if someone was to supply it, I'll post it here.
Obviously, this mod requires Moonlight Tales Mini, or it will just... do nothing and take up space hah.
I also recommend taking a peek at my other Moonlight Tales Mini mod that goes well with this one, to have both meshes and textures customizable! But it's in no means required. Moonlight Tales Mini Mesh Replacer
Because the mod is so big, I plan to soon add optional smaller files that only include some options and not others, to make it easier for folks with not so good internet and just save people time.
Currently planning a Moonlight Tales Texture only version (all 2K or lower) and a 4K only texture version, mostly bellyache and the others I ported and updated (body textures only, both mods will have all eyes, because eye textures are tiny.)
Please do let me know if something doesn't work right. I am just one woman who went cross-eyed making this mod lol, mistakes are possible! But I'll happily fix them if I find them myself or am notified.
