About this mod

Is your werewolf boring? Got you covered, this is a retexture of the plain vanilla werewolf to something with a bit more punch and depth.

Permissions and credits
The vanilla werewolves always lacked something for me, so I did a rework of the texture into a more battle hardened version, keeping to the original vibe but adding more to the story / character.

Skyrim is at war, bloodshed and fury is rife, so this retexture has been dubbed 'Warwolf'.

The background (if you don't want to read just shoot to the downloads :P)
Those afflicted or blessed by Hircine have the power to transform into terrifying 7ft murder machines, always appearing fresh as a daisy not a blemish in sight from their regenerative abilities and are mostly feral acting off instinct. And so I came about with a legend of my own, something the nords would tell their children of before laying them to bed. The spirit of an old wolf choosing a worthy warrior, carried down by the blood of his kin until the time. On it's arrival whole bastions and platoons of men were ripped to pieces, a dragon you can see coming in the sky miles away plain as day... A wolf you'll feel breathing down the back of your neck.

"The night is full of Hircines hounds, giant craven creatures of teeth and claws,
But this old wolf is different,
This creature is born of war, lives for battle and prowls as Hircines prized hunter of man.
He wears the scars of victory over his very flesh, they are his armour,
The runic warpaint is his declaration of commitment to the nature of the beast and to battle,
His greying fur a sign of his wisdom and guile over the hunt and his abilities,
He is not like the rest.
Beware the old wolf, his teeth in the night have slipped many into the abyss, to fight him is to witness Hircines full fury,
sleep now child and pray... the moons are full and the night is dark."
