    IMPORTANT!!!

I wanted to inform all users that Terrain Parallax Blending Fix has just been updated, for now please use the version prior to this update, at least until I have time to create a new version of Atlantean compatible with this update, thanks!

Hi all. I think we can agree that this series is the absolute best there currently is on Nexus when it comes to seamless and most naturally blending landscapes on top of being beautiful textures, with awesome parallax!

I had a couple of question for the sake of clarification. I'm a user that had to take a 2-month break and recently upgraded from 1.4 to the latest 1.5.4 which I realized added mountain textures and meshes creating a conflict with Majestic Mountains (conflict can also be with caused by another MM related mod I didn't check precisely) which I had installed previously alongside with AL.

    So here are the questions:
    Regarding Atlantean Landscape 1.5.4
    - Can you confirm that MM is not compatible/redundant with AL 1.5.4 and should be uninstalled when used alongside AL?
    - Are AL mountain meshes considered "vanilla" or brand new meshes?
    - Does AL replace the need for Majestic Mountains - More Accurate Collision ?
    - Can AL be mixed with other mountain textures or this will most likely not work because AL replaces all the mountain meshes and create custom ones?
    - If you have the options in ENB enabled for parallax as in the description, mountains meshes/textures from AL will display parallax by default, correct?
    - Can Skyrim 3D Rocks be used alongside AL or is it redundant/should be uninstalled?
    - Can AL benefit from this mod Skyrim - A Mountainous Experience (seems to say it improves mountains, preferably with MM but not necessarily) or does it replace it (or should it be simply uninstalled for compatibility’s sake)
    - In the case of a patch like this FYX - Solitude Arch if using AL should I choose the vanilla mountain version of the patch or a specific version compatible with AL will be needed?
    - Any other popular mods that come to mind (outside of landscape textures, of course) that should be uninstalled are no longer required?
    - Is ProjectedDiffuse Patch Hub which has an Atlantean Landscape version, useful/still required. The patch dates back to February 2023.

Regarding Atlantean Landscape - Majestic Edition
    - It is recommended to check Majestic Landscapes: but doesn't AL do what ML does? I.E adding landscape textures, won't they be redundant? If not, would it be a good idea to have AL-ME alongside ML and Majestic Mountains and Majestic Mountains Complex Material? I've read that Majestic Landscape is not required if using AL-ME and MMCM, but wondering if it can still be an added bonus.
    - If using AL-ME, with MMCM (and also maybe ML), Terrain Blending Fix is no longer needed?
    - Simplicity of Snow is not preferred for AL-ME, but how about AL 1.5.4? Is SoS "more" compatible with AL 1.5.4 than with AL-ME?
    - In the page for AL-ME you recommend using Rally's Solstheim Landscapes Complex Terrain Parallax Edition  since Solstheim isn't covered by your mod yet. You don't mention it in AL 1.5.4. Do you still recommend it as well? As far as I can tell from looking at the files, Solstheim isn't covered yet either in the “regular” version?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for all those questions. But I'm starting to go deeper into granular modding but don't have the knowledge to answer these question just from looking at the files and SSEdit, yet. Also, since searching the old forum is momentarily removed, it's a pain to get through some older threads to find answers.

      1) You can use MM (normal version) alongside Atlantean Landscape -Complete- but you'll loose all the parallax complex material support, the improved blending and the perfect collisions.
      2) My meshes are all improved, they are a high-poly version of the vanilla ones, they all have the double side flag enabled (to prevent light from passing through them) and they all have perfect collisions.
      3) Absolutely yes
      4) Yes, but you have to choose textures that go well with mine since, for example, the Rocks01.dds texture was designed to blend well with my mountains textures
      5) Correct, but it is very important to use auto parallax to avoid any kind of strange issue
      6) You can use Skyrim 3D Rocks but obviously you won't have perfect collisions nor will the textures be suitable for mine, just as they wouldn't be suitable for any other replacer
      7) Yes, you can use Skyrim - A Mountainous Experience but put Atlantean after it
      8) Not required at all, I mean a patch
      9) It depends on the mod, although I don't understand which one(s) you are referring to
      10) I don't use it because my INIs and my snow shader settings are all perfectly adjusted but anyone who has problems can use it

      About Atlantean Majestic Edition
      1) The best thing is to have ML installed and Atlantean ME after it
      2) Correct, using AL-ME Terrain Blending Fix is no longer needed
      3) I don't use SoS so I don't know which version to recommend, I use BDS 2.11
      4)  Rally's Solstheim Landscapes Complex Terrain Parallax Edition is always recommeded regardless of the Atlantean version, I will soon be adding support for Complex Material to Rally Solstheim as well

I take this opportunity to thank you because these are all questions whose answers will clarify many doubts for all users :)

Is anyone else getting these textures for the rocks around the intro? I tried everything from reinstalling to disabling other mods, but the rocks always have this untextured 3D mesh look.

Conflicting mod, in my case it was Simplicity of Snow. After looking over instructions for both mods I don't think they can coexist as SoS needs the ENB setting for blending terrain disabled. Not 100% sure but that's what I was able to gather in my testing so far.

After better understanding what I'm doing with these mods, SoS was not the culprit but another snow texture. I missed part of the TPBF FOMOD, compatibility patch is in there and works perfectly. Just clarifying in case someone else sees this.

Then I suppose its because of the ENBSeries installed in the game folder, because disabling every single mod still has the same effect. Any idea which files I should delete / change to make it work?

I'm still very new to trying out the parallax-enabled mods. Make sure you've set the ENB settings at the bottom of the description page for this mod (need changes to enbseries.ini). Someone else may have a better idea.

    Skyrim SE v1.6.1170

Tracking down a seam issue in Dawnstar finally led to me to the culprit: Update.esm
Problem is in DawnstarExterior08, images from the CK below. First is only Skyrim.esm loaded, second is with Update.esm loaded.

I took the landscape record from Skyrim.esm and copied it into a new empty plugin, enabled it and launched the game, coc from the main menu to DawnstarExterior08, and the seam is gone. However, there is still some weirdness going on with the one rock (images below, this is with only Atlantean enabled and my fix from above; blending seems fine in most places).

Nothing is overwriting files from Atlantean, that mod and its patch for TPBF are at the bottom (2.0.8 TPBF with Atlantean's patch file). Nothing else in the plugins that can be disabled except my fix for the seam and no other mods enabled beyond things like Address Library, Papyrus stuff, Console extending mods. I'm at a loss, not sure what else I can check. Any advise is appreciated.

Hello MR wizkid34, i come to you in a great time of need, reading through your mod desc it sounds like this is the one for me, I've been struggeling with really ugly terrain transitions like this one
    https://ibb.co/WpHQFNQ
so far this is the case so far no matter the mod i use.
Installing your mod is pretty easy and straight forward but i am confused on the patch part, I've tried couple of things my ways but no matter what the terrain always stays like that.

Hi there, still using and loving the mod, matches everything perfectly for the textures in my game (no spiky rocks etc with terrain blend 2.0.8) and I'm loving my "complete" game.
I've just started using Seasons of Skyrim again however and although everything is fine will all LOD's generated, I'm getting really anxious about the change in season and it crashing my game if I've done this wrong.

Simple question really, does this or Simplicity of Seasons/Seasons of Skyrim win the conflict? The only other conflict is DynDOLOD.
And thanks again. This mod just fixes everything, and still looks the best (imo).

      ty for the appreciation :)
About your question, I don't use Simplicity of Seasons/Seasons of Skyrim but one thing is for sure, if you want Atlantean to work correctly it must win every conflict, the same thing that happens with any other mod of this type

Hi thanks for the reply, I did have it the wrong way so I'm glad I asked. Definitely good to be sure.
I also realised too late that I'd missed something with lighting meshes when I moved some files and yup, missing textures. Oh well at least I have a much better chance at not crashing in winter, and having horn candles :)

Testing takes longer when the game looks so good. Just saying.

Hi! I'm considering jumping over to this from the Majestic Edition. I know the sticky post says that this is compatible with Majestic Mountains Complex Parallax, but since you made your own meshes/collision/textures for the mountains anyway, do I need Majestic Mountains at all? The only things I have in my load order that really depends on it are a Simplicity of Snow patch and Oblivion Gates Remade. If MM is redundant, then I can delete a few patches and simplify my mod list.

My custom meshes aren't compatible with MMCM, that's why Majestic Mountains Complex Material is still required, my advice is to try the base version of Atlantean and if you like it you can simply avoid installing MMCM

That surprisingly fixed it, But now I've ran into another issue seemingly caused by specifically this mod. After Installing it and noticing the buggy ground I went to try other Parallax Landscapes but ever since I uninstalled Atlantean Landscape [And cleared ENBCache] all of my landscape textures are purple/missing textures, even though I have Skyland Parallax and Default underneath it with Auto Parallax so nothing shouldn't be able to overwrite? I then tried to remove ALL of my other landscape mods to figure out which one was doing it, WELL I DID any the purple textures were STILL there. It seems like it's caused some sort of permanent bug and cannot be removed without that happening anymore? Idk what to do, but I can't even go back to my old setup without Atlantean Landscapes anymore.

And its confusing since I have the proper version of Auto Parallax and Parallax Blending Fix, as well as Skyland - AIO, and Skyland Landscape Parallax. Meaning without Atlantean Landscape it should simply go back right? Well for some reason it never did and just stayed broken. I thought maybe somehow i installed or messed with another mod that caused the issue so I disabled ALL of my landscape mods and their patches and it was still there.

I literally don't understand, the only changes I made from it being normal, to this was installing atlantean, didn't like fuzzy grass, turned off atlantean and now suddenly its this XD. Idk what to tell you but I haven't touched anything else, the moment it happen ive done nothing but look around for fixes.

I've been brainstorming with an entire server of people and nobody can figure out what happend, but its confirmed this only happens if you install atlantean and disable/uninstall it. Because the moment i turn it back on, it works, and if I turn it off, my entire game [ even with ALL landscape mods turned off] breaks and becomes purple ground.

It's missing textures. You need to uninstall Terrain parallax blending fix, install a different compatible landscape texture mod, or read the description and put the textures in the correct folder to make whatever you're using compatible

I had the exaxt same problem until a couple hours ago with my SkyrimVR (800+ mods) setup wich I now, step by step plan to bring to parallax.

It happend with every landscape parallax texture I tried.
And me too, had the problem remaining, if I uninstalled the parallax textures.
I found that a part of the problem was the blending fix (I still can not make the blending fix to not turn all the blending areas blueish snowlike.
But to completely get rid of it, it was needed to remove and reinstall majestic mountains and make it overwrite everything to fix it. Maybe I messed up the load order before.

Now (since 2 hours) I tried this:

      About Atlantean Majestic Edition
      1) The best thing is to have ML installed and Atlantean ME after it
      2) Correct, using AL-ME Terrain Blending Fix is no longer needed
      3) I don't use SoS so I don't know which version to recommend, I use BDS 2.11

Wich now works for me. Except, that I kinda dislike the ghosting in the blending zones. (it looks like 1 parallax texture is a ghost over the other). But I decided I can live with that  for now. LOL

Did you turn on EnableTerrainParallax by mistake?  I did the same thing.  It creates some entries in your ENB folders/entries you will now need too delete.  Google this and you should see which.  I did.  Just turning it off wont fix.

edit: I take this back.  This mod somehow completely screwed  up everything luckily I make backups.  It is supposedly for enb but requires community shaders.  Once I installed all required per doc, skyrim would not even load to main menu.  Just spun.  Uninstalled everything and had the mess you have above.  Not a good experience.  I am not a NEWB and have been working on my setup for years.  Just was interested in the parallax dirt actually as I was using Skyland parallax with tamrillic textures dirt as I hated the Skyland dirt but was looking for a  parallax ver.
