High-res and performance textures, cleaned of compression artifacts and optimized for SSE, plus potato resolutions, for the wondrous Game of Thrones Dragons Mod

The original textures for these gorgeous dragons by KaienHash were in ancient BC1 compression or uncompressed format, with a maximum of 4K resolution (pretty small on a giant dragon).
I have cleaned the files of compression artifacts, upscaled them all by 4x using chaiNNer and ESRGAN models to a max of 16K resolution, and re-compressed in modern BC7 format with full mipmaps. I have also downscaled the textures to provide different resolution options.
Why 16K Dragons??
All resolutions specified are the maximum resolution. Dragons are VERY large, so think about how you want your dragons to look when you are fighting them up close.
The original dragon bodies were in 4K resolution, meaning the dragon head itself was only about 1500x1200 pixels. If you like 1K apples then you definitely want 8K dragons or higher.
Requires meshes from the Original Mod ("Ally" or "Enemy" files), the texture files are not necessary.

We know from experience that modding is an extremely addictive past-time and can be a slippery slope from creating a simple load order to porting mods to going full boat and attempting to rebuild Skyrim from the ground up. That's why we believe in a community that integrates Xbox and PC gamers along with porting noobs and experienced mod authors. We all have more to learn, and modding Skyrim to its extreme is a community effort to say the least.
Skypocalypse is meant to be a gaming community that supports collaborative efforts. The gaming and social channels here are intended to foster the social connections that help act as glue for our collaborative work.
