About this mod

Prevents animals, bandits, etc. from reporting crime. Repackaged with installer. No Animals Report Crimes and Critters Ain't Snitches alternative with fewer unnecessary edits and several patches.

Permissions and credits
This mod fixes a bug with the vanilla Radiant Story feature where certain NPCs (such as animals or bandits) report crimes while they are not supposed to.

This is a simple repack of the original Logical Crime Report with a FOMOD installer. It is an alternative to (and should not be used with) No Animals Report Crimes and Critters Ain't Snitches. The author created it with fewer unnecessary edits and offered several patches.

All plugins are flagged ESL (ESP-FE) and do not use up plugin slots.

I left the main ESP name unchanged, but I did change the patch file names for ease of use (because it was annoying cross-referencing names like "LCR.P001.Ani.Fls.esp"). I could not find anything on the nexus which had these as masters, so I think it should be okay.

Load order should be the base mod, then any patches in "group 1," then any patches in "group 2." (Note: by base mod, I mean LCR.esp. The original Logical Crime Report is not required.)

These fixes are already included in Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch. It is an excellent mod, but it is an all-in-one with very many gameplay tweaks, some of which you may not want. If that's the case, this is a good option.

  • Automatic selection based on ESPs you have active. I couldn't figure this out, and it's not a very high priority.
  • Verify patch files. I don't use many of these mods, and thus didn't check some patch files. However, the original mod was last updated 6 months ago, so I would assume they are all good to go.

Thanks to Wenderer for FOMOD Creation Tool, which made my life much easier.

Thank you to the original creator of Logical Crime Report for a modern version of this bugfix with comprehensive patch support. Hope to see you return someday! Additionally, thank you for open permissions on your mod.
