About this mod

Mod that attempts to remove ambient light level from stealth gameplay.

Mods like RAID and RAID Weathers are great for making light levels consistent with visuals and actually useful for stealth. However, some awesome enb's are not compatible with  RAID Weathers (yet), and even if they were, ENB light is not recognized as light sources that contribute to light levels, making them inconsistent for stealth gameplay. This means that stealth could be unexpectedly be harder in shadow than you were expecting, or easier in while sneaking in well-lit areas, because the light levels are not consistent.

My quick solution to stealth when NOT using RAID and RAID Weathers is to remove the effect that light levels have on stealth, so sneaking will be at least consistent, regardless of light levels. As of 1.1, no other settings were changed other than iLightLevelMax (0) to ensure close-to-vanilla gameplay balance (should be slightly easier than vanilla) as possible.

The idea is based of the documentation regarding detection:

The visual factor is determined as follows (the number in parentheses is the new value):

Visual factor = Attenuation * VisualContact * Light  * Movement * Blindness * Invisibility

Light: ( fDetectionSneakLightMod  + light level (0) ) * fSneakLightMult

The stealth gameplay should now consist of three main factors:

1.) Staying out of the enemy line of sight
2.) Making sure you are wearing lightweight gear (or have the sneak skill to compensate)
3.) Making sure your sneak skill is higher than the enemy's

Requirements:
None

Compatible:
All lighting, ENB, and weather combinations

Somewhat incompatible:
RAID -> Has a lot of settings that are balanced around light levels, which may cause unintended effects.

Not compatible:
RAID Weathers (Should use RAID instead of this mod. RAID Weathers was meticulously designed for accurate light levels, so why not use them?)

Unknown compatibility:
Dynamic Weather and Time Based Detection (probably works fine but not tested)
The Art of Shadow (may or may not make these spells useless, since they presumably affect light levels)

Recommended:
Berserkyr ENB
NAT3
Lux
Any mods that are listed as "Poor" or "Bad" on RAID's detection balance charts.
