About this mod

Skyrim Special Edition (SE) 1.5.97 & Skyrim Script Extender 2.0.17-2.0.20 (SKSE64)

This is a Re-Boot of Easy Wind, by, DayDreamingDay which is an iteration of HDT SMP Wind, by, nexusid1234.
My goal is to host a finely tuned configuration to make it easier for users to plug, play & e

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Mirrors
DayDreamingDay has granted permission and rights of this mod to me, be it they still have leeway with control and Donation Point royalties.

If you wish to check out their iteration of this mod, you can do so here: Easy Wind

Please do not use HDT-SMP & FASTER HDT-SMP & HDT SMP Wind, because they do the same things in different ways and will probably cause crashes on startup, or severe instability depending on your load order. (No IF AND OR BUTS about it)

If you are a user of HDT-SMP or F-SMP & are wondering if you'll lose the physics functions, the answer is no. This will provide you the same Simple Mesh Physics like the jigglies and wigglies we all love y'knowm' sayin'?

What this mod does:
This mod is another iteration of HDT-SMP but it applies wind to all HDT-SMP cloth physics such as:
Banners, Capes, Cloaks, Clothes and even Hair!
These physics are only applied if you have a mod that brings support for physics to whatever you want physics/wind applied to.
Example:
In order for KS Hairdos to have these physics applied, you need to install KS Hairdos - HDT SMP (Physics)
Any references for capes and physics/wind are located in the Description > Requirements

Please take note that this is an experimental take on the mod and that it will likely try to incorporate FASTER HDT-SMP implementations and productions.

This mod will bring you the features of elegant wind, with a low to high performance cost depending on your games Script Latency (which can be tested with Elephant's Script Latency Tester), the amount of graphical intensive mods you have, and most obviously the power of your computer. For a reference of my rig and Skyrim mod setup, see far below.
If your script latency is above 120-130, you may experience some input lag for action which require scripts. A healthy high latency is averaged at about 80ms. Framerates may improve latency, but overall this is not a problem hardware can solve.

INCOMPATIBILITIES:

Easy Wind
HDT-SMP
FASTER HDT-SMP
HDT SMP Wind

Why? Because this Mod IS those mods! Just with wind...

REQUIREMENTS:
- Artesian Cloaks of Skyrim - Soft/Hard Requirement for the purpose of this mod, but the mod will function without it
(OR, just HDT-SMP add-ons for your Cloak & Cape mods of choice)
- HDT SMP XMLs (Fake Collisions) - Soft/Hard Requirement for more lively cape effects. Browse the files section for the Fake Collisions XML
- XP32 XMPSSE Skeleton Special Extended - REQUIRED. WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT IT.

INSTALL:

- Install with your Mod Manager of choice. Mod Organizer 2 is highly recommended. Load above any HDT-SMP .XML mod such as the [HDT SMP XMLs Fake Collisions XML] and load it above your HDT-SMP Capes, Hairs, Clothing & etc. Mods.
- Make sure you have XP32 Skeleton Special installed, preferably under all HDT-SMP related mods.
- Make sure you have SKSE installed. My SKSE version is 2.0.19, you may try whichever version you like to see if it works because I have not tested it on any other version.
- Last but not least, Skyrim Special Edition 1.5.97 must be installed. I'm not sure if this works on Anniversary edition.

- Manual Installation if you know what you're doing, if that's what you choose to do.

My computer setup and my Skyrim L/O base:
I'm equipped with an EVGA GTX 1070 SC Gaming [OverClocked], AMD Ryzen 5 3600 [OverClocked], supported by 16GB Corsair VPro 3200 RAM and running my game off of a cheap 500GB HDD, and my monitor is an ASUS VG32VQR 165Hz @ 2560:1440p with GSync & ELMB Sync.
My modlists consists of mainly animations which run off of Nemesis and DAR.
Spell Perk Item Distributor Mods and Base Object Swapper Mods.
Combat Mechanics which run scripts.
CBPC Physics
Textures that are repetitive are at 1-2k
Other textures are at 2-4k
ENB - Jade ENB with Patrician ENB overtop of it, with ENB Sharpener and ENB DNI Processing with all settings on High to Highest with my Skyrim graphics set to Ultra

Average FPS in Exteriors is about 25-30 with drops to 20 but overall stability is smooth (feels like playing on a console)
Average FPS in Interiors is abut 35-50+ depending on the building/dungeon/cave you're inside of and how much is going on inside them.

In the future:
I plan to further my efforts on this project but first I need to do some real learning before I dive into writing codes. I don't believe there's too much to improve on the wind side of the project but I have a theory about what nexusid1234 was doing. For I am a jack of all trades, I need to master one to explore my theory.
