This mod is just a small modification for the wonderful, wonderful gameplay changer Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim by Enai Siaion.
Inspired by Velgath's Skill Rate RemoverI first made this for personal use, because I play heavily modded Skyrim also with Static skill levelling mod by RookMeister. Even if you don't use Static skill levelling, this works well, if you want to avoid the Experience mod affecting your gameplay style at certain levels.

Now I put this in public just in case someone else needed it. I tried to keep the modifications close to the original where it made sense. Hope you enjoy it.

Changes are made as follows:

  • Akatosh - Shrine blessing - Increased Experience: Learn all skills 10% faster => 15 % magic resistance (To emphasis the role as a divine favored dragonslayer).

  • Zenithar - Follower - Work Ethic: Learn Smithing, Alchemy and Enchanting X% faster and they are X% better (based on favor with Zenithar). => Smithing, Alchemy and Enchanting are better (based on favor with Zenithar).   I gave larger improvement for this, because now Peryite and Auriel along with Riddle'Thar give the same boost to ALL Skills. (The player active effect percentage may not be accurate, but I haven't the skill yet to change that).

  • Peryite - Follower - Taskmaster: Learn all skills X% faster (based on favor with Peryite). Pray for Peryite's Gifts to gain favor. => All skills are more efficient (based on favor with Peryite). Pray for Peryite's Gifts to gain favor.

  • Auriel - Follower - Father of Mer: Learn all skills X% faster (based on favor with Auriel). => All skills are % more efficient (based on favor with Auriel).

  • Syrabane - Devotee - Reach for the Stars: Learn all Mage skills X% faster (based on favor with Syrabane). => Spells cost X% less to cast (based on favor with Syrabane).

  • Riddle'Thar - Follower - Path to Llesw’er: All skills are improved X% (based on favor with the Riddle'Thar). => Only changed the description to match others.

Just to be absolutely clear without missunderstandings: Skill enhancements don't raise the skill level. They change how well skills work. For example slightly more damage, armor rating, better potions and tempering. Just like it was with Riddle'Thar's blessing.

The mentioned boosts are hard to explain exactly, because of how crafting and combat skills work. For example it's roughly about 15-20% boost to enchanting power with Auriel at 100 favor, and another tier or two in smithing. I added enchanthing myself to Auriel's (also Peryite and Riddle'Thar) list of skills because Wintersun had enchanting buffed only for Zenithar's followers. I also modified the Zenithar's boost to be little better for this reason.

In other skills the buffs are not so noticeable, they just give you a slight boost to damage for example based on the favor. I didn't add enchanting to Auriel's path to Alaxon, because I think it's more balanced like it is. If your worried about overpowering, I used only the same calculations that were already in Wintersun itself. (Khajiit, Riddle'Thar). It will probably be allways OP if you max it with crafting skills and everything:)

Loadorder: Just place the patch under Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim.esp.

Compatibility: If Wintersun is compatible with your setup, my add-on will also be, unless you use something that touches the same records.
I only modified few records, no changes to scripts or anything drastic.

I don't consider myself as a "real" modder, so I don't plan to make different versions out of this, because I spend most of my personal time playing. On the other hand, if there is some mistake in the descriptions or the workings of the little mod I'll try to fix it. Enjoy your Skyrim!
