RagnaartheDead2 : A) This is not real life. B) Do you want to see water down there or a black hole with no light reflecting back? C) The well on my grandparents farm was about 30 feet deep. Yes you could see the water at the bottom. Grandpa kept the livestock down gradient and it was only near an alfalfa hay field. The old water source was a pond about 30 feet down hill and It wasn't soggy. D) Wells are deep because that is often how far you have to dig/drill to get clean water.
Wskeever - very nice work. I came here from Dogma's Animations who uses your mesh in a tub.
Hi, have a problem and I hope someone can help me. If I activate this mod I get a warning on Mod Organizer 2 about a conflict with Water in Wash Basins (from Mur4s4me). I want to use both of them. Is that possible? Is there really a conflict or its an error of Mod Organizer 2? Thanks for help and good day.
Okay, so I think I have searched everywhere before posting this (I'm a self taught modder to Skyrim SE and AE about a year in). So for noobs like me or anyone just looking for an answer I thought this would be a post worth making. So to get this working with Water for ENB and Animated Water Forge you just do the following.
If I could endorse this mod 500 times, I literally would. So instead a simple donation for the mod author's amazing work will have to suffice. And as always remember if you can buy the author a coffee. Their hard work and dedication goes unnoticed a lot of times.
This is NifSkope but is the poster implying that this is an issue with the mod? My NifSkope install only points to default texture paths so I often see purple textures for nondefault textures - but I've never seen it be a problem in-game (I mean I've seen this issue occasionally in-game but not for objects where it popped up in NifSkope).
I would advise anyone who reads this post to not listen unless you fully understand why and how those mods interact to a fundamental level.
Because I certainly don't, maybe care to explain?Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't you not/and don't need to combine water mods, and the first 2 are both water mods? I use Displacement Textures myself (with Animated Forge Water too) and have zero issues- worked out of the box. I thought Water Mod- ENB Displacement Textures is only compatible with Cathedral Waters or vanilla. Not Water for ENB. I'm a self-taught modder as well so perhaps I'm wrong. But that seems a bit unlikely; it's well known you cannot use 2 water mods (unless specially made compatible- your 2 are not) and it can literally mess up your game.
Also, wSkeever does amazing work. Just gotta throw that out there real quick.
Sorry about the late reply I was going through a divorce, so I've been gone for about a year. Anyways yes, I wholeheartedly agree with what you said; however, I use the water ENB displacement (if I remember correctly, I've done countless load orders since I posted this) for the flow of Realistic Water 2, with the textures of Water for ENB, I think I was just experimenting at the time. I must have gotten something to work though.
For those wondering to have a JK Skyrim patch, you can have it by proxy. Simply install these three mod combinations to get all working together nicely
Water in Wells: this mod @ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57268
FYX - Smooth Wells: download the "FYX - Smooth Wells - Water in Wells" variant @ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/66715
FYX - Smooth Wells - JK's Skyrim Patch: download it and when installing, ensure to pick a patch that supports both 1 and 2 mods @ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67277 to even it out.
Hey wskeever, I was comparing meshes and noticed that your SMIM'd solitude well mesh isn't included in this. Would making a patch be as simple as copy+pasting the branch for the water in nifskope?

BYW, it's better to put smim_wood_mine_planks.dds and smim_wood_mine_planks_n.dds to a separate file. They override my 4K upscaled textures.

Is it possible to make it work with Animated Clutter? Namely, the impwell01.nif of the mod.
