If I am not mistaken these mods are completely different. Edge glow is not effect glow. Removing the ugly glow on edge of player is different from wiping out the effects in the game for things like magic...just saying. Edge glow is just ugly and most people are not removing it to save FPS or anything. I actually add in MORE glow using ENB.
Thanks for the mod! I thought I didn't have to care about the 255 limit when I started playing Skyrim because I wouldn't have that many. I was wrong...
Great mod, thank you. I use the following load order: Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim 9.45.0 Summermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim 3.07 No Edge Glow 1.4.1 FleshFX 1.1 No Edge Glow does not alter the spells in Apocalypse or Summermyst, which is not surprising. If I create a patch, I will upload, or send it to author so that they can post it here.
I let Flesh FX, which is in direct conflict, overwrite. This seems to work fine, all other effects are gone, but stoneflesh, oakflesh etc work as Flesh FX intended them to.
This is exactly what I was looking for without knowing it. The effects are still there but subtle ; enemies do not get illuminated by magic effects, thank you.
Some glow effects still appear ; not sure if because am using Mysticism. Pack Mule still has an edge glow for example, not a big deal.
edit : used the synthesis patcher to have the effect applied to everything ! Had a crash with it before but now is working just fine. edit : have to configure whitelists otherwise some desired effects are removed with the synthesis patcher !
Glow be gone seems more up to date for future lurkers.
Go to your start screen under creation club is "mods" search Akaviri Blades Follower Expansion Pack (PC) find - Ghost of Rielus. hes in Castle Dour where imperials are in solitude. it makes him damn near transparent

Modding, it's an incurable disease
I start.
Less than 5 hours of gaming, I am _in need_ of adding a dozen or so mods....
Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim 9.45.0
Summermyst - Enchantments of Skyrim 3.07
No Edge Glow 1.4.1
FleshFX 1.1
