I use Keeper Carcette survives along with Stendarr Rising which has a patch for a chest added by Cutting room floor . Where exactly will i find Pendulum after starting Dawnguard : on the keeper or inside the hall of vigilant chest ?
I love everything about this, but unfortunately it's lacking a lot of compatibility patches that force me to stick to the original mod for now. Would love to get a patch for Legacy of the Dragonborn, at the very least. I'm also thinking of patches for JK's Jorrvaskr, JK's Blue Palace, and JK + Obscure's College of Winterhold, depending on if they are needed.
Working on an updated Legacy patch for this. However, I'm noticing that you didn't add the non-playable flag to any of the versions marked as such in the editor. Have also confirmed that at least some of the "unplayable" versions can be acquired, since I went out of my way to wipe out the hall of the vigilants before the vampires since that was required to get Pendulum before. I'm likely going to make an updated version of the main esp with a couple fixes (also adding the non-enchanted weapon versions back in, since I'll need them for the legacy patch update)
https://github.com/Absynnian/CustomSkyrimMods Legacy Patch and Tweaked Replacer ESP to make it work. Still needs testing, but all the displays point to the correct item ids.
Edit: Seems to work on a new/clean save, going to rework the changes to see if I can make it work on existing saves when I have time. So use at own risk.
I also wish to express my thanks. For the life of me I couldn't understand why only this section was missing the ability to display the weapons. The patch fixed my issue (though I understand everyone's game is different due to mods) and was able to auto sort and manually add the weapons in the Hall of Secrets mid playthrough (which was a life saver since I am fairly close to midway which is a lot since I downloaded many of the lotd patch mods).
It all works so far, all except the Rikvard axe weapon display, and now my Legacy Checklist also has an item called "!Error". I can get around this by using Jaxon's Positioner, since my checklist still found the axe, just not display it properly... Odd. Dunno what that's about, figured I'd let you know.
It's a weird feeling to go looking for a patch file, only to discover you made it yourself a year ago and completely forgot. So thanks past me I guess?
Thank you for making the compatible patch. However, there are some problems with some displays. Rikvard is displayed as Judgment. Judgment is displayed as Smile. The Smile is displayed as Silvertongue. Silvertongue is on display as Northern Honor. Northern Honor is not on display anywhere. Rikvard's display is empty.
@Rifti I have the exact same problem as you. Well, it's not much of a hassle i think missing only one weapon, but i am a completionist, and i'd hate to just "disable" the one display i know i CANT have. Have you use that patch on a clean save or a ongoing one like me ?
Open the patched DBM_RoyalArmory_Patch.esp in SSEEdit; the FormIDList for Northern Honor is missing. Create a new FormIDList with the Editor ID "DBM_PISilverbloodLIST" then add the FormIDs "RA_NorthernHonor "Northern Honor"" and "RA_NorthernHonor_NoEnchant "Northern Honor"" Open the FormIDList "DBM_SectionHOSRoyalArmoryItems" and add the new FormIDList that was just created, "DBM_PINortherhonorLIST," to the FormID #20, overwriting the error there. Then, in the Container "DBM_CheatCrateRoyalArmory" add a new Object Union to the Array of Objects and give it the FormID "DBM_PINortherhonorLIST" I then moved the new Object Union into the #20 position by right clicking it and pressing "move up." I don't know if this is necessary but I figured the ordering consistency wouldn't hurt.
I messaged @Absynnian for what he'd like to do with the patch, depending what he says I may post it as a mod separately for easy access.
Note that when used on a new save, everything works flawlessly from my testing. If updated on an existing save from no patch at all, everything will be placed in the correct positions except Northern Honor which won't be displayable. TCC Icons will only show up for a few weapons, and the ones they show up on will be buggy. I fixed the bugginess of working icons by rebuilding the MoreHUD icons in the TCC MCM but it didn't add icons to items that were missing them. I did not test what would happen if updating from the old patch to the fixed one.
this breaks the LOTD patch, as they can no longer be displayed (aor at the very least, using the curator companion mod does not give these weapons the collectable icons)
This is an FYI in case anybody ends up banging their head against this: I've encountered a repeatable crash around the Whiterun guard tower that doesn't create any logging reports. My process of elimination this ESP replacer seems to be the issue. No idea how/why although there is some null quest references that exists in the ESPFE but I'm removing this from LO.
No shots at the author! Love the mod idea, but who knows what happens when the LO gets complicated.
