"Behold this fine arrow! Look at that subtle off-brown coloring. The
tasteful thickness of it. Oh Divines, it even has fletching. I'd buy that
for a septim."

"Well, I wouldn't."

"Adrianne, come on... I have like a hundred of these shitty iron arrows."

"Fine. I'll give you three septims for ten arrows, how's that?"

WHAT IS THIS?

Ever gotten back to town with a bunch of iron arrows looted off some dead bandits, and found that vendors weren't interested in paying for them because your low Speechcraft skill made the price of a single arrow dip under 1 gold?

This mod adds a way to bundle arrows (and bolts) into packages of ten or fifty. Ten/fifty arrows worth 1 gold each becomes a bundle of arrows worth 10/50 gold. These arrow bundles have no use except to be sold, or converted back into loose arrows. Go to any tanning rack (or Create Item menu if you have Campfire) to bundle or unbundle the arrows.

Arrows that can be bundled:
  • Iron Arrows
  • Steel Arrows
  • Orcish Arrows
  • Elven Arrows
  • Glass Arrows
  • Ebony Arrows
  • Daedric Arrows
  • Ancient Nord Arrows
  • Falmer Arrows
  • Dragonbone Arrows
  • Stalhrim Arrows
  • Nordic Arrows
  • Nord Hero Arrows (only available with USSEP)
  • Forsworn Arrows
  • Riekling Spears
  • Steel Bolts
  • Dwarven Bolts

COMPATIBILITY AND MISC

The value of the bundles are based off vanilla arrow prices. Any mod that alters the value of arrows will need a compatibility patch for the values to match up. But it won't break any functionality - if you don't care about the bundle not being exactly x10/x50 the value of the corresponding arrows, you can use the mod as is.

A patch for Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes is provided under Optional Files. It forwards WACCF's various changes to the values of the arrows. For example Orcish arrows have a value of 6 in WACCF, up from 3 in vanilla, so its corresponding bundles are now worth 60/300. A couple of keywords introduced in WACCF, such as WAF_MaterialNordic, have also been forwarded to the bundles where appropriate.

A patch for Campfire by Chesko is also provided under Optional Files, that moves the arrow-bundling recipes to the Create Item power crafting menu, reducing tanning rack clutter. Recommended if you use Campfire.

The menu replacer used in the screenshots is Dear Diary, and the font is the Dumbledor font from Enderal.
