For some reason the changelog does not seem to have been updated, so here it is.
Added animations to Sit cross-legged and Sitting on ledge.
Script adjustments to allow AnimObject to be changed using AnimObject Swapper. Added dummy items for samples.
Changed DAR condition from HasMagicEffect to HasMagicEffectWithKeyword to allow creating patches without animation using AnimObject Swapper. Created a new keyword for animation while keeping the existing keyword.
Addressed a problem that ragdoll status could not be obtained correctly under certain conditions. As a result, PrecisionOption was removed and powerofthree's Papyrus Extender became a required mod.
Solution in the description for you, guys! (KID.ini patch creation method) Oversimplified: 1. Download the optional file! 2. Delete everything in it and copy-paste the end lines of above mentioned (Reference example)! 3. Save your file into the mod folder! 4. Enjoy!
Edit: Just kidding I fixed it, but if anyone wants to skip this step and use a mod, Eating Animations - Patch Collection does not have ineed listed as a mod that it covers but it does patch the iNeed waterskins.
for some reason my character only eats bread— in the most cases, which is weird, bc sometimes it works, but most of the time it's not working. and i do have needed patches installed
In case somebody else is having this issue: I think I got it fixed by converting the files from DAR to OAR with the help of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/93359
Edit: Nvm, the issue still persists. It worked first, but then it stopped.
Aw man, I just can't get this mod to work properly for some reason. I found out that one of the issues was Sunhelm animations being enabled. Ok, I disabled them, re-run nemesis just in case, even renumbered priority for each animations in new EAS OAR folder (was thinking maybe it was part of the issue) but now I have to activate the food two times for animation to play for the majority of foods. Somebody in the bug section mentioned that go to bed mod might be causing this - ok, I removed it yet the issue still persists. What's curious that animations play without issues when my character is sitting in the chair, but not when standing. Most of the times idle animation just does this jitter thing and then nothing.
For those who installed the mod correctly but the animation cannot worked, there is a way to solve the problem(worked for me at least): that is to delete the "order list" file in your "overwrite\Nemesis_Engine\cache",then rerun Nemesis Engine.Hope it will be useful. From my perspective, the reason why it cannot work is the Nemesis Engine animation order not-correct.The EAS mod should be put before/above the payload interpreter mod.Because i don't know how to change the order in the Nemesis Engine,so the only way i can figure out to solve the problem is to delete the file. Hope it will work.(Please forgive my poor English)
I'm using OAR instead of DAR, but it should be backwards compatible, and yet, despite following your instructions, I can't get the animations to play. I even tried removing the cache and launching the Nemesis Engine from scratch, but it doesn't help. I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?
I am using OAR and it's working for me. There must be something else wrong like an incomplete install from your mod manager. You should confirm the file structure and see if everything is actually in place and activated. There is an esp file named TaberuAnimation and also a patch in Nemesis that has to be activated before you run Nemesis. The Nemesis patch is called Eating Animations and Sounds SE.
If you are sure you installed the mod correctly and it's active then maybe you are missing one of the requirements? Nemesis and this mod's respective patch are a hard requirement.
I feel like such an idiot, I've been trying to wrap my head around why it wasn't working for me as well but I completely ignored that Powerofthree's Papyrus Extender requires "powerofthree's tweaks", which was the missing link. Thank you for writing that up, it's the only way I would have noticed!
this post half-solved my problem. The other half is you should use 1.7. 1.9+ debugging will constantly inform you DAR missing. Besides 1.7 have no box to tick in nemesis so no need to clear cache.
Greetings. If using OAR as an update to DAR - there is a DAR 2 OAR animation transfer mod - sorry do not know how to link it. Creates copies of animation files in DAR to the equivelant OAR folders. Regards Colin.
anyone else having invisible food?? i finally got it working in oar by converting it and then running nemesis and now its just not showing the food. the hand animation remains the same but food doesnt appear. help????

Dynamic Animation Replacer or Open Animation Replacer
Keyword Item Distributor (KID)
Payload Interpreter (This requires Address Library)
powerofthree's Papyrus Extender (This requires powerofthree's Tweaks)
Project New Reign - Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine
Skyrim Script Extender
EDIT: After reading through the comments, I reverted to version 1.7. Everything works great.
