Excellent! I've got the ported Priory and will take a look at porting my monks patch later today and see what needs fixing. Thanks again for doing these ports!
I had the same problem with followers not going upstairs; I believe it was present in the LE version as well. I looked at the navmesh and it looks fine, so the problem appears to lie elsewhere. Darned if I know where, though. It affects the monks in my patch as well. They do get up to bed eventually. Somehow. But not by the stairs, lol.
I've sent the link to my monks patch to nojyr.
The stairs thing is bugging me, so I'll look into it further as time permits, but I can't promise anything. If I figure it out, I'll fix it in the monks patch and let nojyr know so the fix can go into the base mod as well.
EDIT: There is a readme in the monks patch that describes the changes I made to the Priory for the monks. The major one is that the player's bed is still marked as such, but the monks now own the individual beds. Let me know if you find any bugs with the monks (other than the stairs ) and I'll do what I can to fix them.
Incompatible with Lux Via, a burned up building takes up the same space. I've disabled all the objects of the Lux building with the console for now, so I can keep my house.
Also, an interior lighting patch for Lux would be amazing if someone was able to do that. At the moment it's very bright and foggy inside.
I'm an idiot lol... that is what I have been using lately, gone through so many different mods for solitude and mods that combine other mods I got them mixed up! I have been focusing on making Whiterun insanely large lately with Whiterun City of Walls: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40879 and Solitude has been on a back burner for a while as I do that. I see Enhanced Solitude Docks has had some updates as well I should check out. Thank you for setting me straight!
edit: I had to sort out some issues with my mod combination as something was causing Enhanced Solitude Docks to crash for me, so I just turned them all off to test the combination of the Priory (with monks) and the Enhanced Solitude mods.
There are some conflicts with the blacksmiths in Enhanced Solitude Docks. The barn for the cows and some trees clip into the building, though I found them easy to remove in the console. There is also a mound of dark rocks that clips with the entry to the Priory and covers most of the fertile soil to the left when you come up the steps. This goes away if you put the Priory after Enhanced Solitude Docks but then so does a whole chunk of landscape along the road on both sides causing boxes and buildings to 'float' and gaps in the world space - beyond my limited knowledge to fix. Perhaps it is patchable by someone who knows how to do it?
If you can ignore the landscaping issue and are happy to remove the barn in console it is playable though, plus it looks absolutely stunning in combination with Enhanced Solitude Docks.
And thanks to jknjb for adding the monks! It's really nice to have some buildings out that way! Sometimes North Skyrim seems very very empty so I do like having some buildings out that way! Thanks to all of you concerned. Here's one happy Skyrim player! :-)
Excellent for those that want to role play as a monk. When this priory gets the monk add on I would hope there would be an option to still live there and use it as a home.
Thank you for bringing this to SE and I'll make sure I thank ClefJ too! It is - as you say - lovely. It also has the most spectacular scenery... watching the sunrise into that estuary is quite something!

First thing to know: the stone/writing is upside down.
But right-side up, the Dovahzul is:
HET NOK UN
MAHLAAN DROGGE
EREI SULEYK SE
ALDUIN VOKRII
Which translates to:
HERE LIES OUR
FALLEN LORD*
UNTIL POWER OF
ALDUIN REVIVE/RESTORE
*(not sure of "drogge," but "drog" and its variations is "lord")
Drogge is plural, it would be lords. Same as, for example, peyt - peytte (flower - flowers)

Cant wait for some more monks as well. Between the three of you (ClefJ, jknjb and yourself) you are adding a much needed dimension to SE.
now I just need to see how well (if at all) this fits in with the Solitude Expansion https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8? and Enhanced Solitude https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27816 combo I am using. If not I really need to learn how to make patches!
It's basically Solitude Expansion (it contains it) plus.
Tho that one is likely not compatible with Priory, since the docks are all around the town (propably including where Priory is).
So it is actually Enhanced Solitude Docks I need to try it with. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28349

Would you consider porting any of his other mods? Teonas Manor and Garnet Tower are my favorites of his unported homes.
