FURIOUS PATCHES
If it adds perks... patch it.

A couple years ago I made a patch to fix the perk tree conflicts between Furious SSE and Ordinator, which francisco42 added to the mod's page. That patch however had some issues that irked me, such as the restoration perks being below the main node, causing you to zoom in to the wrong place. Not to mention that as time passed, more and more perk overhauls released, and people started asking for ways to SMASH with their new favorite perks, myself included. I started thinking "I'd love to unload my RAGE on someone's face with Vokrii..." and so the Vokrii patch was born. And then I thought "you know, Adamant is pretty cool too, so since I'm at it..." and soon there was another patch. Then "well, if I've come this far..." produced patch after patch after patch.

SUPPORT FOR

Furious SSE - Barbarian Gameplay Overhaul
(Furious uses the One-handed, Two-handed, Block, and Restoration trees)

BARBARIAN PERK PLACEMENT

Perk positions and connections were changed slightly for these patches. All barbarian perks are now connected to the base perk, where the tree normally starts, and try to follow the design of the perk constellation. Also, RAGE OVERFLOWS HEAL AND STAMINA are no longer chained together, so you can get HEAL first! Good for those masochists who want to SMASH a real challenge.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • BARBARIAN SADIST shows "30, 30" in its requirements!
This is an issue with Furious itself, and only because it's doing something Bethesda never really intended: sharing a perk between trees. Normally a perk is assigned to a single tree and only has requirements within said tree. To be honest I'm surprised the game handles it that well! Regardless, it's only a display issue. Nothing to bring the FURY over!

OUTDATED OR MISSING PATCHES

Due to how this is only placing nodes on specific perk trees, "outdated" patches only cause issues if the supported perk mods have moved, added, or removed something from those trees. The installer may only show the base version the patch was made for, but the mod page will be updated to show the version range of what it's compatible with.

If you notice that one of your favorite perk mods has updated and something doesn't look right, or if you don't see yours on here, comment or post a bug report! I'll try to get to it as quick as I can.
