I used to have this mod as a staple in my load order. Lately though I'm seeing evidence that this mod can interfere with other scripts that might be running at the same time as this.
E.g., mcm kicker starts, I activate an animal corpse and Hunterborn asks if Hunterborn should initialize, I select yes... then after Hunterborn is ready, clicking on an animal corpse causes gamepad control to mostly not work anymore. (Weird error I know but mods conflicting can cause all kinds of weird behavior.)
afaik, the mcm kicker mod just runs the console command "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1" after loading a save. There isn't a need for that console command to be run that frequently.
regarding not seeing MCMs listed after mcm kicker runs, or after the mentioned console command runs, there is a hardcoded limit of 128 MCMs. So if you have more than 128 mods that have MCMs, there will always be MCMs missing.
the solution is to use a mod that allows for more than 128 MCMs. on nexus there is "Menu Maid 2". on LL there is "SkyUI Resort".
After looking through the scripts, I can say that yes, this mod does work, it's just that there are better alternatives. Specifically Menu Maid 2. It includes the same functionality as MCM kicker, as well as many other qol features and bug fixes to MCM's. This mod auto runs a console command to ensure MCM's are initialized, while Menu Maid goes with a more advanced method. I do not know the method entirely, but I can say for a fact it is significantly more effective and stable.
Works and show that it load all MCM menu but I miss 5 menus that doesn't show up in the MCM. Im probably on a save issue rather than this mod cause on a new save all 24 menus are loaded and shows up.
it seems to work in 1.6.1179 gog, but everytime i load a save, it begins with a notification "mcm kicker activated, may take 1 minute..." and then it says "mcm registered 30 new menus".
it is normal that it does that everytime, registering new? :7
I was/still am having a lot of issues with Faster HDT and other .dll-related CTDs. I've been carefully rebuilding my load order and can confirm Cheat Engine is the only feasible NG replacement for AddItemMenu (even the NG version is outdated)
TL;DR If you are saying Cheat Engine doesn't work with AE - you are 100% wrong,

you need UIExtension Fixed ESP Plugin instead of just regular UIExtensions
and ofc all the other requirements as well (Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2022, SKSE (2.2.6), JContainers, SkyUI, and PO3's Payrus Extender)

Didn't know there's a replacement plugin for UIExtensions, damn. xD
