Graphical overhaul consisting of a brand new weathers mod along with an ENB preset as companion with a heavy focus on consistency and as few flaws as possible.
Download Part 1, it contains the weather mod. Part 2 is not needed.

Author's instructions
The weather mod found in (Part 1) is full open permissions as long as you use same permissions.
For public use of ENB files, asking for permission would be ideal. In the case of ENB Lens/Sunsprite shader files, you need to ask LonelyKitsune, author of Silent Horizons ENB about them.
Increased fog saturation during sunrises and sunsets for all weathers to fix some fog/sky mismatching colors during these times.
Increased fog saturation during day for pleasant weathers.
Reduced rain particles speed.
Removed sun texture.
Version 1.6
Plugin
- Removed terrain noise from main file, it is now available in Optionals files.
ENB
- Reworked Bloom shader UI interface, now it has one new option and Day/Night/Interior separation.
- Changed how bloom looks in interiors, more colorful, stronger on strong lights, weaker in low light.
- Prepass shader now has distance limit. Thanks to Boris for helping me with it! This should help with bugs on thick fog. Additionally, it now uses a LUT texture to allow me control the colors better. Kinda experimental, may not work out well with all skin mods.
- Adjusted Prepass to make characters slightly darker now and more orange that I don't have to worry about objects visible through thick fog at big distances.
- Slight adjustments to SSS.
- Very slight reduction of sunlight during pleasant weathers.
- Adjusted ENB AO (still disabled by default!), hopefully it looks better for those who favor ENB AO instead of game's AO.
Version 1.5
Plugin
- Added 4 new weathers variants: gloomy overcast, very clear, medium rain, light snow.
- Slightly adjusted imagespace.
- Slightly changed the Sun Hue and Saturation for pleasant weathers to reduce the strong red tint of ENB Sunrays.
ENB
- Added support for newly added weathers.
- Enabled and adjusted Prepass shader. Skinblur part of shader is now disabled for smaller performance impact.
- Increased sunlight intensity for pleasant weathers.
- Increased the blue tint of ambient lighting during dusk/night/dawn for all weathers.
- Aded Sunsprite shader. Many thanks to LonelyKitsune for allowing me use it!
- Adjusted several parameters related to sun.
- Reduced Volumetric Rays intensity a bit.
- Adjusted Water a bit. Waves amplitude now changes depending on weather and time of day.
- Adjusted Particles to improve the look on waterfalls. This also affects Volumetric Mists mod so it should look better.
- Adjusted SSS for characters, hopefully looks better, but who knows, depends on skin mod.
- Adjusted Wetness furthermore.
- Slightly increased AO strength for interiors.
- Other tweaks I forgot to note down. I know, I suck at detailed notes.
Version 1.4
ENB
- Enabled the Wetness effects as well as tweaked them. Minor performance impact.
- Decreased sunlight intensity during light rain weathers to offset the extra brightness caused by Wetness effect.
- Reduced Bloom during day for pleasant and overcast types of weathers for a more clear look.
- Slightly increased visibility in shadows during heavy rains mid-day.
- Adjusted Sharpness effect to counteract better the blurriness caused by Chromatic Aberration effect.
- Adjusted Chromatic Aberration effect to reduce blur a bit.
- Other tweaks I forgot about which were done since up to a month ago.
Version 1.3
Plugin
- Adjusted the weathers that occur during Wabbajack quest to fix brightness.
- Tweaked Rain and Snow particles.
- Slightly increased Rain Volume for the light rain weathers.
- Added a custom sun texture.
ENB
- Tweaked sun and sunrays and increased procedural sun glowcurve.
- Enabled ForceMin/Max for Adaptation to put a limit to how dark the image becomes when looking at the sun.
- Changed some code enbeffect.fx to change blending for Lens Weather Effects. This makes Lens Weather effects look better.
- Tweaked Lens effects furthermore. Lens Dirt effect is now disabled by default for better performance out of box.
- Increased character skin specularity during rain. The impact of this change depends on skin mod.
- Adjusted SSS for slightly more orange-ness on character skins.
- Exposed one parameter in enbeffect.fx, it defines strength of night-eye and other fade effects.
Version 1.2a
Plugin:
- Changed Apocrypha weathers to fix brightness issue.
Version 1.2
1.2
Plugin:
- Slightly reduced brightness for pleasant weathers in tundra region and for one foggy weather in snowy areas.
ENB:
- Enabled ENB Rain effect. Make sure to update ENB binaries, rain effect has been improved as of 11 Feb 2020.
- Adjusted lens effects, enabled back one of the previously disabled effects now that they're more fine-tuned.
- Slightly adjusted procedural sun.
- Slightly adjusted Lens Weather Effect Frost.
- Disabled Luma Sharpness in Sharpness settings.
- Reduced Water SunscatteringMultiplier, water ripples should look more normal now.
Version 1.1
ENB:
- Enabled Weather effects in the Lens shader, thanks to LonelyKitsune for explaining how to enable them.
- Tweaked Lens shader a bit and disabled some barely used effects to gain performance. The gain for me was about 4fps which can be big if you're under 30fps. Your mileage may vary though.
- Slightly reduced volumetric rays intensity in foggy weathers to minimize sky blown out issue.
Version 1.0a
Changed plugin header description, previously it mentioned Aequinoctium, which is where the plugin originated from.
Removed files from enbseries folder that weren't supposed to be there.
Version 1.0

Graphical overhaul consisting of a brand new weathers mod along with an ENB preset as companion with a heavy focus on consistency and as few flaws as possible such as matching grass to distant terrain, no horizon seams, decently looking tree LOD. Night-eye, fade to black and other imagespace modifiers are also supported. All in all, consistency, homogeneity of all elements and pleasant visuals was the main focus in making this. I hope you enjoy this.
How to install: 1. Download latest version of ENB binaries and extract only the following files into your SkyrimSE folder (where SkyrimSE.exe exists): d3d11.dll | d3dcompiler_46e.dll | enblocal.ini Please do not extract the entire archive of ENB binaries, it will create issues! 2. Download and install ENB Helper SE using a mod manager. 3. Download and install Picturesque Part 1 using a mod manager. 4. Download and extract Picturesque Part 2 in your Skyrim folder. (not in Data folder!) 5. That's all, enjoy! Note: If you're switching from another ENB preset, always delete the existing enbseries folder before installing another preset.
Optional: Download Seasonal Weathers Framework and the patch for Picturesque there to add seasonal weathers support for use with Seasons of Skyrim SKSE so that you get snow weathers and no rain storms during winter and so on.
Mods used in screenshots: - Noble Skyrim Mod HD-2K - Northfire's Photoreal Mountains 2 for SE 1K-4K - Northern Grass SE - Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants
Compatibility: - Not compatible with any weather mods. - Mods that change game's AO settings through accompanying INI (has same filename as ESP file) will bring issues such as extremely strong AO. Manually editing them out is required in this case. The AO lines to be removed from other mods INI are the following: fSAOBias= fSAOExpFactor= fSAOIntensity= fSAORadius= fSAOValueDiffFactor=
