Why does the Weakness to Frost effect from eating Abecean Longfin still appear on my character's body? The skin and hair has the frosty texture all over it after eating the abecean longfin. It seems that all the Weakness to ______ effects still appear.
I thought this mod worked for all magical effects. Does anybody know of a mod that removes all magical glow effects?

Remove Glows (A List of Glows to Remove) has everything and more. There's no problem with "weakness to _____" effects
-Body - Armor - Weapon Glows (ESP)
      -Alchemy Use (ingredients and potions)
      -Alteration Spells Hit Glow FX
      -Destruction Spells Hit Glow FX
      -Illusion Spells Hit Glow FX
      -Restoration Spells Hit Glow FX
-Enchanted Weapons and Hit Glow FX
      -Candlelight / Magelight Glow
      -Dawnbreaker Wisp Glow
      -Display Case Glass Glow
      -Healing Vortex Animation
      -Illusion Spells Glow
      -Lightning / Shock Hand Glow
      -Lightning / Shock Impact Flash
      -Lightning / Shock Wall Glow
      -Nirnroot Glow
      -Soul Gems Glow
-Torch Glow (removes the casting shadows of itself as well)

glow be gone is not compatible, like adding texture  on body. Like Enhanced Blood Textures, Dirt and Blood and wash effect in keep in clean etc. use this

Can you try again, in proper English? I really am interested in what you're saying, but it just doesn't make any sense. Are you saying we should use this, and NOT Glow Be Gone? Or the opposite? And why? Take your time, use Google Translate, help people understand.

hey I'm pretty sure other mods do what this mod does but better. I'm only not sure which one it was. try looking for something like this in the synthesis patcher or when you're making a bashed patch.

Well, after testing out I can say that he meant that Glow be Gone is not compatible with Dirt and Blood, while this one is compatible and works perfectly.

Seems fairly easy to understand. They're saying that this mod isn't compatible with mods that add textures onto the body, such as Enhanced Blood Textures, Dirt and Blood, etc

Strauler is right, and AliDocious has it in reverse.

I keep coming back to this mod because I get confused which GlowRemoval mod to use.

This one doesn't affect textures that are added to the body, meaning No Edge Glow is compatible with mods listed in the OP.
      However,
This mod linked here (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34148?tab=description) isn't compatible with texture manipulations, TO A DEGREE. They need to be manually added via .json edits and such or something like that.

OP is saying use this mod *No Edge Glow* for more compatibility and less work.

I can also confirm OP is right, this mod does the trick.

Thank you very much for this mod, there are some edge glows on Mysticism-altered spells that Glow Be Gone SKSE Update doesn't get so I use both together and haven't had any issue with annoying glows ever since! There is only one USSEP adjustment that isn't carried forward by this mod but that is a very easy fix in SSEEdit.

EnchRedFXShader (000D7661) is the only conflict I found but that wasn't between this and USSEP. This and USSEP overwrite Skyrim.esm, which is expected since this carries forward USSEP changes.

This mod is definitely better than Glow Be Gone for me, because it doesn't dim ghosts down to invisible. The patch for Glow Be Gone doesn't work for me at all.

the only mod so far which removes magical effects glow like waterbreathing.
toning breaks in skin can be minimized by adding some noise with reshade.
