About this mod

Dwarven Sentinels are killing machine designed for one thing: to search and destroy anyone who invade the dungeons of their Dwemer masters. Strangely evil for a machine, they appear as a multi-tentacled creature, with multiple glowing red sensors, that moves effortlessly through the air, probably using an advanced internal form of electromagnetism.

"Dwarven Sentinels are killing machine designed for one thing: to search and destroy anyone who invade the dungeons of their Dwemer masters. Commonly referred to as "squiddies" by Nords because of their look, this Dwemer automaton is typically seen patroling the ancient halls, saloons, sewers and passageways of the dead Dwarven cities of old in search of invasor beasts or wandering humans.

A Dwarven Sentinel appears as a multi-tentacled creature with multiple bright red eye sensors, that moves effortlessly through the air, probably using an advanced internal form of electromagnetic technology. The Sentinel's frightening appearance reminds the one of a squid,  and they tend to fly in swarms like those animals. In addition to their powerful, clawed tentacles, Sentinels are armed with dangerous shock attacks. They are also equipped with multiple audio and visual sensors.

Using these sensors, Sentinels are capable of long-range electrical signature detection, being able to distinguish the one generated by a fully-powered Dwarven Automaton and the small electromagnetic production of a human body, in the range of a full Dwemer ruin, and they will relentlessly follow that organic signal to its end, to end the life of the invader. There is no negotiating or reasoning with a Dwarven Sentinel, they received their orders directly from the Dwemer ages ago and will invariably complete their mission unless destroyed.

More spiritually sensitive people that encountered a Dwarven Sentinel have described them as automatons with a completely different aura when compared to the energy around a regular Centurion, Spider, Sphere, or similars. Sentinels emanate a strange evil aura and feeling, something is unexplainable dark around these machines, what may be related to the fact that they appear to be powered by black soul gems, which contain the souls of imprisioned men, mer or beast-race inside them.

Dwarven Sentinels are extremely fast, and the best option is to confront them directly with melee weapons. They are not that strong, but can outnumber you easely, when they become much deadlier."

The Mihail Monsters and Animals series aims to create and make available to the community the most complete set of creatures for TES 5: Skyrim, implemented in an immersive and unique way, with respect to the pillars of lore. Instead of pathetically just throwing models and textures in the game reusing 100% vanilla mechanics, the creatures made by Mihail have uniqueness and extreme zeal in their idealization and implementation, which will provide you with an experience that you have never had before in this area.
